Good ones Ms H !

I didn't think anyone remembered Minnie Ripperton - I loved her voice.

Patsy Cline?

Etta James?

Miljenko Matijevic - He's the lead singer for Steelheart. He was severely injured in a stage accident which caused an interruption in the band. They came back but I feel his extraordinary singing voice is now lost.

Randy Jackson - He was the lead singer for Zebra. His singing style was unique but his range was limited to his youth, as he ages he isn't able to get the same contrasting sound.

Tony Joe White - he has a deep and gritty vocal style and is a brilliant songwriter. Cajun/Swamp Music style.

Ella Fitzgerald, Cab Calloway and Gene Greene were all very talented scat singers.

Did you know that the Bride in Bridesmaids is her daughter? She actually has a nice voice too, but not irreplaceable.

I've often said that there are few things that give me more joy than a dog's "what's that" expression....

.....and when a Sam Cooke song comes on the radio.

I'm not sure if a voice has ever moved me more than Buffie Saint Marie singing "My County Tis of Thy People You're Dying".
