Larsi, can you answer as an Atheist, you happened to be alone in a field when thunder and lightning started to crash all around you, I wonder what your thoughts might be.

As another atheist I'd say science. It's spectacular but how can I minimize my chances of being hit? You could curl up in a ball but it's hard to accomplish much else that way. Running for cover is as good as anything probably, minimizing the time you're exposed. Getting low to the ground is also going to increase your surface area unless you can get into a hole, dubious benefit to that. Don't fall down running in the mud, that won't help, especially if you break something.

Why did I go out to this field in the first place... Thunder and lightning do not come unannounced, so there is a weather forecast. And if there is thunder and lightning on the cards, I stay indoors ;) |

Why is it, Atheist´s find it so hard to give a straight forward answer. Maybe, because life as such can be complicated and full of complex issues? It could be me as well, lots of people say, I am nor able to come straight to the point. |
