HaHAH!  I don't know that much about (pre) Buckingham Fleetwood Mac (and that much) about Green. but associate him more with the Gibson Hollow Body. EDIT: More of a "Jimi Page" association with the Sunburst. I miss more than I pick up sometimes, but I’m learning.   Depending on your playing, good thing the pickups don't miss anything.  I just started learning a few months ago. I don’t even have a pickup. Well you'll need a van or something if you ever expect to tour. JK..stopping now.....all about acoustics myself. The Sunburst is probably more of a collector/ego thing (despite the lovely Les Paul sound). I'm much more comfortable when I unplug. |

In Moby Dick, Herman Melville makes reference to a tool that “operates like a leathern squilgee." In the early 20th century, window washers discovered that the squilgee concept would be a perfect tool for their trade. Details are sketchy, but a device called the “Chicago squeegee” became the standard in the industry. It was made of heavy steel and had two rubber blades that were attached by 12 screws. Why? Just for the hellovit because I think about weird stuff. |
