It is true that only the attractive will really get quick results. With this statement in mind, I must be about as unattractive as ten foot up a bulls a##. I've been doing the online dating thing for around 10, maybe 12 years. And nothing good has ever come of it. Oh, I've had some dates. But nothing to write home about. I remember the 80's and 90's. Back when I would meet women out in public in different places. Back then you could just strike up a conversation with a woman and go from there. Now, to the best I can tell, dating has gotten weird. With a lot of women now, if you catch the right situation, and you just try to strike up a conversation, many will look at you like you're nuts. Some will act like you asked them to have sex with you. When you didn't. Nowhere close to it. You're just talking. Being friendly. To my way of thinking, computers/internet/smartphones and the like have ruined many people. They seem to lack social skills. They don't know how to handle a face to face conversation anymore. But many will get on FB and talk to strangers all day. Everyday.  |
