All love, is one-sided.
Its always one-sided.
This is because love is a feeling that manifests with in us individually.

Relationships where love is only demonstrated by one person are destined to fail.
In a relationship, demonstrating our love for someone is how we communicate our feelings to them.
You can't make someone love you.
It has to happen within them.

I'm sayin:
Its the exchange of love for one another that fortifies the relationship.
If one half of the relationship is not fortified by demonstration of love the relationship fails.

The other person may feel love for you but is unable to demonstrate it.
They do give clues of their love.
Sometimes those clues of love are missed or misread.

Then there are the ones that you feel love for but they feel no love for you.
Its yourself and your desire for love that keeps the relationship active but living in a delusion is not healthy.
Reality will rear its ugly head and you end up broken from the experience.

No matter how much love you demonstrate you will not get the results you hoped for.
You can't love someone enough for both of you because love is a personal feeling that can't be assigned to others.
You can try, but it will fail.

We are all fools, chasing that feeling of excitement, that heady rush which only love gives us. Love feels like a drug! Makes us feel good! But many end up alone and single. Love is very difficult to come by. Most people in the world have arranged marriages and get married to get married, to fulfill parental and social expectation of them. They don't struggle to find the one or remain childless because they couldn't find the one. They are guaranteed to have a mate and children if they forego the foolish fairy tale fantasy of love found in romance novels. Sometimes, one of them may actually fall in love with their partner so it becomes one sided. Sometimes, it could miraculously be mutual love! But for the rest of us fools looking for love FIRST, we become seriously deluded, don't we? Many never do find the one and end up, gasp!!!, spinsters!!

Love is very difficult to come by.

I agree with a lot of what you said except that love is difficult.
Love is a feeling within.
You can't just go get love.
Its not a commodity.

Love is just as easy as any other emothional state you experience.
The "Fool" part comes from thinking you can go find love.
Its the idea that love is something tangible that can be gathered.
Love only happens within you.
What people are looking for is someone that loves them as much as they love them.
Mutual feelings that are demonstrated to each other.

Its that lack of connection that causes one-sided love.

Love is few and far between. How many times do we fall in love? It's rare for me. That's what makes it special. If we fell in love easily, it would be meaningless. Hence, difficult to come by.

Not difficult but difficult to come by, meaning rare or hard to find. If it was easy, everyone would be happily married.
