Its not up to us to prove there is no hell , you made the claim so its up to you to prove hell doesn't exist?

I cant prove that gravity is either a theory or law either.

I am doing no such thing. If you read what I wrote, you can see I said there was no "hell" in the Scriptures.

I am going by what the book says, and not making up the parts I don't like. Isn't that what so many people do?

I would appreciate it if you did not twist my words.

isnt funny how people interpret things?

Here's what's funny. The lengths some people will go to just to defend their own ego.

I have the same question as I have asked since the beginning.

If there is a "hell" in the Scriptures, prove it. Show what the Ancient Hebrew/Greek term for "hell" is.

If you can't do that, then what is your argument?

The word "sheol" is the hebrew translation of Hell or underworld and its mentioned 64 times in the Old testament along with grave and Pit.

In the new testament Jesus makes references to hell as he talk about the righteous going to heaven, so where do you think the unrighteous goes? To the former soviet republics, Venezuela? mississippi? a weekend with Donald J.Trump?

This is why Christianity is so diverse/fractured.with churches. No one can agree on interpretation. Plus not everyone here is Christian

exactly yellow rose

what the OP is trying to so like others before him is to say because the word " hell"doesn't appear there is no such place

The word hell is an old english word from the 700's AD.

The greeks mentioned Hades, the hebrew mentions Sheol and every religion has a "hell" but the word is not mentioned but they have the same meaning.

A place where the wicked goes after death.

I consider the rest of your post to be off topic.

I see you are still using the bisexual king's NT, aka, the KJV.

'Sheol' is a Hebrew word. Let's see what the Jews say it means...

SHEOL ():

By: Emil G. Hirsch

Position and Form.
Hebrew word of uncertain etymology (see Sheol, Critical View), synonym of "bor" (pit), "abaddon" and "shaḥat" (pit or destruction), and perhaps also of "tehom" (abyss).

—Biblical Data:
It connotes the place where those that had died were believed to be congregated.

http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/13563-sheol

There is no mention of any fire or punishment. No "eternal damnation." In fact, all souls go to 'sheol' according to the Scriptures.

It is also a fact that the Jews of the NT did not have a "hell." And they did not believe anyone here would go to heaven. And let us not forget, Jesus is a Jew.

The Scriptures is very clear about what happens to the unrighteous.

Also, I see you have not read all the posts here. As I said before, the "grave" only deals with a man's physical body. But what of his spirit and soul?

Still no evidence to support the term "hell."

2 Peter 1:20(KJV)
Knowing this first , that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

1 Corinthians 14:33:(KJV)
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Hell or whatever you would like to call where those who reject Jesus Christ as Saviour go (I prefer the lake of fire as the name of eternal judgment of the unsaved) is a real as Heaven.

Jesus Himself talked more about the eternal place of punishment more than Heaven .

You or I may not know the height, width, or depth nor the degrees of it , but it does exist and is eternal.

Anyone who studies The Word of God can clearly without confusion come to the simple conclusion that a place of eternal torment and punishment exists without a doubt regarding the wicked and everyone who rejects God's free gift of salvation through Jesus The Christ.

I will take divine revelation over man's theories and opinions everytime.

Like the two following "theories" that many adhere to.

1. Universalism, which states that everyone will eventually make it to Heaven.

This is 100% false.
Just like when Satan said surely thou shall not die.

2. Annihilationism , in which the existence of hell is acknowledged, but its eternal nature denied.

Annihilationists believe that those who end up in hell will eventually die and cease to exist .

Both these theories go against divine revelation .
Scripture is harmonious.
Any misunderstanding is strictly on man not God.

But, there is hope in Christ Jesus .
