I would think if you had a quiet word with them and you got caught public sentiment would be on your side, I imagine that a fund me page would be set up and collect millions of pounds for their legal defense.

Plus I cant see a court in the world that would convict a citizen beating a criminal that brutally attacked an innocent senior.

that my opinion.

Thanks, yes your right, they'll still put you through the legal bs though
I just can't see why someone would need to do this in a robbery.

Yes they would put you through the legal B.S but that would be the end of their career.

In my country in Canada, we are not allowed to defend ourselves with guns, A home owner in my province did that, two guys broke into his home threatened to kill him and he got his gun and shot one of them, and the police charged him and he went to court

The crown tried to have him convicted which meant jail time, for shooting a legal weapon at criminal thugs who broke into his home.

Well the judge threw out the case and that prosecutor from what Ive read his career is stalled and rightfully so.

Im sure if that happened today and a gun owner shot a criminal thug in his home that some idiot prosecutor would try but the backlash would be too much for the prosecutor and his/her career would be over.

Good, there have been a couple of cases like that here with gypsies breaking into a farm house.

I know in the UK they are strict with the gun prohibition but Im curious with the increase of stabbings and home break ins, how does the government justify street cops from carrying guns?

I know a lot of leftist will point to Norway as most of their officers dont carry guns but comparing the population of the UK to Norway is silly and plus after Anders Behring Breivik attacked a Norwegian summer camp and killed 77 people.

apparently from the reports Ive read he wanted to give himself up but none of the police officers without weapons would approach him.

Lord knows if he was in America SWAT teams would have shot his azz.

Yes your right.
I think keeping the majority of our police unarmed is ok although they do use pepper spray and stun gun's more now.
We do have a fairly big armed unit presence effective but not that visible.
Like the attack last year at the borough market in London by terrorists. early in the event a helicopter landed on the bridge, that shot was never shown again. It was the sas, 15 minutes in the attack.
All our airports and vital installations are armed to.
There is at the moment an increase but also an increase in reporting it as it's a anti policy thing then.

ahh the S.A.S.

Yes, I would not mess around with those dudes.
I wonder how many Ex S.A.S officers are body guards for the rich and famous.

Those people can't get enough of them!
How are things in Canada? Is there a big french community?

It depends where one lives, In my city there isn't a french community, but in northern Ontario there are, parts of Eastern Ontario has french communities.

Quebec is mostly french, New Brunswick is half french and there is a french community in Winnipeg but its an ugly city, I wouldn't send my neighbour dog there.

A lady of the grand age of 100 years has died in hospital after receiving a broken neck whilst being robbed!
She was attacked 2 weeks ago by a 39 years old man who is now in custody.
Wtf is the world coming to?rant
Normaton uk.

you brought such a thing here. That's a nice act, Mikey.
I strongly condemn all injustices, evil, persecution of innocent people, children, old people and women. and I think this should be a heavy penalty.

That is being polite.
I will keep my thoughts to myself regarding what should happen to ANYONE who commits this atrocity.

At the least what you said would be acceptable.

where did you work in China? If I had to guess it would be a Tier one city maybe a tier 2 city.?

Ever been to a Tier 4 or 5 city? ever been to rural parts of China?

how about the Hunan province, in 2017 the The Ministry of Public Security was offering rewards as high as 100,00 yuan to people to help curb the gun problem, smuggling and homemade guns .

southern county of Dongyuan home made guns are a problem.

Two government officials in Panzhihua gunned down in 2017, I know this because I have Chinese colleagues who actually goes back and forth from Canada to China and I get filled in about what is really going on.

Even in Beijing a Judge was gunned down .

There is gun violence there the problem is the media is state run and transparency isn't what they are known for even reporters without borders rates the Chinese media as the worst violators for reporting actual truths.

I'm not doubting your experience in China, but I'm willing to bet you were in a tier 1 or tier 2 city where they have a tighter control over guns ( sort of)

yes its true if you're caught your azz is there's but there is a problem that they hide from the rest of the world.

Ive been to China many times including visiting up to tier 4 city, I wasn't brave enough or could find anyone that would take me to tier 5 town.
