Watching a Gold rush on tv! Western.
Is that even a real event!  Reminds me of people running over each other trying to get ahead in Some other things. |

Not sure of the historical accuracy of the
show you're watching. (I haven't seen it.) But, there have indeed been gold rushes. Perhaps, the most famous, was the California gold rush, of 1849. Alaska also had a gold rush, noted in history. Even North Carolina had one. Though, not as famous. And, of course, the Comstock Lode was a silver rush in Nevada. Virginia City, was alive and poppin'. |
