My dad passed away at the age of 89 but when he was 85 he got a hole in one in golf.

There was a elderly woman here 2 month ago ( 82 years old) that was getting the living hell beat out of her by a mugger in a apartment building lobby. It was caught on tape. The mugger punching her full force in the face.. multiple times. Heart wrenching to watch.

The news interviewed her a week later, home from the hospital and all black and blue. and she said " he's lucky I didn't get any shots in".. and she meant it ;).. feisty, tough lady... Made me smile.

The cops caught the guy the day after the attack

Im glad she is okay. $75,000 is much more replacable than her life.

Hi Galaxy, I didn't see the age of that woman in the article.

I don't think a 98 year old woman could take that much beatings
from the thugs and get ran over by a car could still hold on to
her purse that long. I hope she recovers soon.

Watch out for an old lady and her purse. Makes me think of that skit on the tv show "laugh In".
