The one that bothers me most is when people don't know the difference between "your" and "you're".

I had sign a form at the hospital today for my volunteer service and there was a word misspelled on there that I pointed out... the lady said that nobody else had ever mentioned it... I didn't even read the damn form and it stuck out like a sore thumb! ahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa an error!!!

I just wonder if the people who makes the grammatical and spelling errors realize that they do so. They should... I mean, even notepad has a spell check anymore. It's not hard to cut and paste either.
Actually, though, I kind of appreciate it. Since I tend to appreciate an educated and intelligent person I enjoy having this indicator to avoid certain people... especially in dating situations. Nothing against them, but I would be unhappy! The one that does bug me is that the newspapers do this. They are supposed to be professional writers and editors...... |
