I don't, but have a few friends that get in pretty bad shape from time to time. Get a doctor, and get on drugs. Whenever my friends stop the drugs - they get coo coo, but when they are on them they are just fine and manage real well.

good luck

I think I will drive up to Humbolt..devil

I've learned over the last 3 years I just have to go out and be there and be me....I've found some good friends and it was hard but I did it...it was hard at first as I'm shy but I know I do have people that love me as friends and will protect me when needed....I had a funny (well not funny) experience last weekend where a very intoxicated young man would not take no for an answer despite my attempts to be civil about it. After saying no and stop touching me for the 4th time I called out for the guy who was the home owner and that was all that was needed. It was great to know that there were men that were there to protect me. Later I hear the homeowner saying "people don't mess with our "tribe" and don't mess with our tribe's women". There were also severely hacked off women and men about the drunk's actions. Knowing that I had back up and was protected meant more than anything I could ever have imagined.

After the drunk sobered up he asked if he offended me and I said yes. He apologized and I accepted it as he was drunk but I think the young man learned a lesson.

You have to bite the bullet, find a group that you are comfortable with and slowly you will make friends for life. Mine will be there no matter how shy and quiet I am.

From what I understand social anxiety is just that anxiety. There are some great medications for that today. I know not everyone likes medication, but for some it is a necessity just for them to leave their house. Effexor is a really good one for that kind of anxiety. I believe Paxil is also, but I would ask your doctor. Hope this helps.

plain & simple it is hard to meet people face to face. u have to face judgement right there &then. when u go online u can have ur space away, and they don't see all the details unless u r using a web cam. u have a persona when u r online,u can pretend and create
and not always detected.

I get anxiety when I talk on the phone, which is kinda weird. Even if it's just ordering a pizza, or something, it's kinda weird.

I'm thinking about seeing a doctor about it.
