You know, I'm not a Christian. I chose to be not one because of this way of thinking. We all have it within us, that is our free will to choose in the first place. Of course you have been given free will to chose, but I predict that before it is all over, you will say, I made a bunch of wrong choices. You don't have to make those wrong choices. The Bible gives you the answers to every question, and it gives the history of those who went a different way. You could benefit from its experience. You know you can fix a car without ever reading any instruction book. You can diddle around, poke at things, and sometimes fix it. Most of the time if you don't really know what you are doing you do damage. Ultimately you take it to a mechanic who knows how it works. It is the same with the Bible. It is God's instruction book. It is not telling you "don't think" It is tellomg you to think. Think past your greed. Think past your sex drives. Think past your selfishness. Think! Study life, learn from others, then make your decision and educated one. The problem today is that people want to cast out the bible and then make decisions. It always leads to painful results. In reply to art No matter what my children do for the rest of there lifes good or bad I would not want them to spend eternity in a burning hell. I guess that makes me more loving then your God. I can only assume you didn't have parents if you think that kind of love is out of the ordinary My friend, you don't know my God, and so you speak with out knowledge. The God of the Bible states that the wages of sin is death. It is not immortality in eternal suffering. That dear friend is a fable created by Dante in his Greek play called the inferno. It has been pounded into the brains of millions, and even you believe that is what the Bible says. Sad, Art Ok very good Art. I'll go with your interpretation. If I had the choice to keep my children alive or let them die for the bad things they did. I would let them live. I would never let my children die. Imagine me some average guy much more loving then your God. |

Pppppffffftttt!!! Everything dies, as in this mortal body... I don't need a book, nor a g-o-d to figure that out... There's a reason, a season, a lifetime for everything... And the whole sin trip is just a manipulative form of grading, rating, and sorting, who gets to go where....a load of hogwash, in my opinion.

I’ll have to follow Jess to the conclusions that she makes Her deductions make more sense to me than burning witches at the stakes The fallacies of rumors and the travesty of lies the bigotry of hypocrites is the Holy Book’s demise Those who claim its power are deficient in their minds They pretend to have a knowledge yet they’re clearly wearing blinds They won’t consider other sources they refuse to look at truth They’re drunken by a fable they feel is sweeter than vermouth Children trust in Santa Claus because their parents told a lie Fanatics trust in Bibles cause they fear to question why Fables and old folklore superstitions and some ghosts Keep the people praying to imaginary hosts Yet no one’s seen an angel and no one’s seen a God They continue to proclaim them never thinking that it’s odd If a God can talk to Moses and communicate with Job then surely he can speak to men from all around the globe!
