SO MY POINT IN ALL THIS IS THAT THE SCRIPTURES MAKE PERFECT SENSE WHEN WE READ THEM IN CONTEXT, AND THE PRINCIPLES CONTAINED IN THEM ARE STILL VALID TODAY. RATHER THAN LOOK AT THEM AS FUNNY OR UNUSUALLY, WE SHOULD TREMBLE AT GOD'S WORD AND STRIVE OUR BEST TO LIVE BY IT.

Numbers 11:18 “And tell the people to purify themselves, for tomorrow they will have meat to eat. Tell them, ‘The LORD has heard your whining and complaints: ‘If only we had meat to eat! Surely we were better off in Egypt!’ Now the LORD will give you meat, and you will have to eat it. And it won’t be for just a day or two, or for five or ten or even twenty. You will eat it for a whole month until you gag and are sick of it. For you have rejected the LORD, who is here among you, and you have complained to him, ‘Why did we ever leave Egypt?’“

GOD HAD PERFORMED NUMEROUS MIRACLES BRINGING THE ISRAELITES OUT OF EGYPT. HE GAVE THEM MANNA TO THE TUNE OF 10 TRAINS 30 CARS LONG TO THE OVER 2 MILLION PEOPLE EVERY SINGLE DAY. BUT THEY WERE NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS, THEY WANTED MEAT TO EAT. OF COURSE THEY HAD SHEEP AND OXEN, BUT THAT WAS THEIR WEALTH TO THEM. THEY WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT WHAT GOD HAD GIVEN THEM.

DO WE EVER COMPLAIN ABOUT WHAT WE HAVE? OR ARE WE LIKE PAUL WHO WAS CONTENT IN WHAT EVER STATE HE FOUND HIMSELF IN. THIS IS ANOTHER WONDERFUL LESSON FOR US.

THIS IS A CASE OF AN INSECURE LEADER PUTTING SOMEONE IN A POSITION WHERE THEY MIGHT BE KILLED IN ORDER THAT THEY NOT BE CONTESTED. THIS HAPPENS IN NEARLY EVERY WORK PLACE IN AMERICA TODAY. THERE ARE POWER STRUGGLES AND PUT DOWNS OF THOSE WHO ARE REALLY TRYING TO DO A GOOD JOB. IN THIS CASE, ISRAEL WAS AT WAR WITH THE PHILISTINES. DAVID WAS PROMISED THE DAUGHTER OF THE KING IF HE WOULD KILL ONE HUNDRED OF ISRAEL'S ENEMIES. THE PROOF OF THEIR DEATH WOULD BE THEIR FORESKINS. DAVID TOOK THESE AFTER THE MEN WERE DEAD, AND THE ENTIRE OBJECT WAS TO MAKE THE PHILISTINES HATE DAVID, AND KILL HIM SO THAT HE WOULD NOT BE A FUTURE THREAT TO THE KING. IF PEOPLE CAN'T SEE THAT THIS IS TYPICAL POLITICAL INTRIGUE THAT GOES ON TODAY, ONLY FORESKINS ARE NOT THE ISSUE, SECRETS, LEAKS, AND POLITICAL FUTURES ARE STILL THE ISSUE.

BUT JUST SO YOU HAVE AN IDEA, WHEN HE CAME DOWN ON MT SIANI, THE PEOPLE DID NOT SEE HIM. THEY JUST FELT THE EFFECT OF HIS PRESENCE, AND THEY LET THEIR BOWLS LOOSED. HIS PRESENCE SCARED THE ....OUT OF THEM.

A HUMAN BEING CANNOT EVEN LOOK ON GOD AND LIVE. WHEN HE RETURNS, HE FIRST BRINGS ALL THE GREAT ARMIES OF THE NATIONS TO THE MIDDLE EAST, THEN WHEN HE IS RETURNING, THEY FIGHT HIM. HE EXPOSES HIMSELF TO THEM, AND THE FLESH MELTS OFF THEY BONES, ZEC 14. (READ IT).

IF PEOPLE HAD ANY IDEA WHO THIS BEING WAS, THEY WOULD FEAR TO PRESENT ANY BLEMISHED ANIMAL OR HUMAN BEFORE HIM. BUT WE ACTUALLY THINK WE ARE BETTER AND MORE LOVING THAN GOD. IT IS BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW HIM. HE WARNS US, NOT FOR HIS SAKE, BUT FOR OURS:

DURING THE PERIOD OF THE JUDGES, ISRAEL WOULD FALL AWAY FROM GOD AND SUFFER BY BEING TAKEN OVER BY OTHER NATIONS. THIS HAPPENED REPEATEDLY, HOWEVER, WHEN THEY WOULD RETURN TO GOD, HE WOULD HELP THEM. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE CASES, GOD SENT A DELIVERER TO SAVE THE PEOPLE FROM THE KING OF MOAB.

SO, GOD'S SERVANT KILLED THE KING WHO RULED RUTHLESSLY OVER ISRAEL. WHEN THEY REPENTED, GOD SENT A MAN TO KILL THE FAT KING. HE STABBED HIM AND CUT HIS INTESTINES.

THIS IS GOD'S JUDGMENT ON NATIONS WHO ATTEMPT TO RULE HIS PEOPLE WHEN THEY ARE SERVIING AND TRUSTING IN HIM. THIS COULD BE OUR POSITION, BUT WE HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO TRUST HIM OR TO FOLLOW HIS WAYS, SO A KING WILL TAKE US OVER. HE IS CALLED THE BEAST IN REVELATION. HIS TEMPORARY ALLY WILL BE A FALSE PROPHET WHO WILL WORK MIRACLES AND CAUSE PEOPLE TO WORSHIP CONTRARY TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.

EVENTUALLY CHRIST WILL RETURN AND DESTROY THESE MEN IN A LIKE MANNER.

Ezekiel 16:17 “You also took the fine jewelry I gave you, the jewelry made of my gold and silver, and you made for yourself male idols and engaged in prostitution with them.”

WE WILL EVENTUALLY LOSE ALL THE WONDERFUL BLESSINGS OF GOD. THINK OF THE NATURAL DISASTERS, WARS, AND PROBLEMS WE HAVE HAD SINCE 9/11.

THIS COMES FROM THE FIFTH COMMANDMENT. WE ARE TO HONOR OUR MOTHERS AND FATHERS. THIS WAS TO BE DONE IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CONGREGATION AND THE FIRST TO THRONE THE STONES WERE THE PARENTS. THEREFORE, THEY WOULD NOT BE LIKELY TO DO THIS UNLESS THE CHILD REFUSED CORRECTION. THUS HE WAS AS GOOD AS A CRIMINAL ELEMENT IN SOCIETY. TODAY, WE TAKE THE OPPOSITE APPROACH AND ARE PROUD OF IT. MY FIRST GOOGLE OF CRIMES BY YOUTH:

The stories that are true are frightening. Most recently, shocking accounts of school violence have captured the nation’s attention, riveting the country toward the “problem” of adolescent violence in our schools. And young people are in danger. The United States has the worst youth violence rates in the world. But the key to piecing together the puzzle of youth violence is first to look at the facts.

According to the Surgeon General, almost one out of every three sixteen to seventeen year olds in the United States self reports participating in acts of serious violence. From 1985 to 1994, the rate of homicides committed by youth aged fourteen to seventeen years increased by 172 percent. In 1999, 35.7 percent of high school students reported being in a physical fight within the last twelve months.

While these numbers are alarming, there is also some good news. Arrest rates for weapons offenses among ten to seventeen year old youth doubled between 1987 and 1993, but then dropped by 24 percent by 1997. Between 1995 and 1997, there was a 22.4 percent drop in the number of youth who reported carrying a firearm once in the past three days.

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF DIVINE JUSTICE. THE BABYLONIANS HAD TAKEN BABIES FROM THEIR MOTHER'S BREAST & KILLED THEM BY SMASHING THEIR HEADS AGAINST THE ROCKS. THE PSALMIST IS TALKING ABOUT IT BEING DEVINE JUSTICE THAT THEY ONE DAY WILL DO TO THE BABYLONIANS WHAT THEY DID TO THE ISRAELITE FAMILIES. FIRST OF ALL, THIS IS THE PRINCIPLE OF AN EYE FOR AN EYE. SECOND, IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE CHILDREN WILL DIE FOR EVER. THERE IS COMING A TIME WHEN ALL THOSE WHO DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE FOR SALVATION WILL RECEIVE THAT CHANCE. Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

THE FIRST RESURRECTION IS COMPRISED OF TRUE BELIEVERS IN THIS LIFE, BUT THERE IS COMING A SECOND RESURRECTION AFTER THE MILLENNIUM IN WHICH THE REST OF THE DEAD WILL BE RAISED AND THEY CAN THEN HAVE THEIR CHANCE. FOR EXAMPLE, FOR NOW GOD IS NOT CALLING EVERYONE.

SO THIS IS GOD'S COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN HE WILL TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS. WHEN WILL THAT BE? IT WILL BE AFTER THE THOUSAND YEARS ARE FULFILLED. NOTICE THAT EZEKIEL ISAIAH SPEAKS OF THIS TIME, AS WELL AS EZEKIEL:

Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. Isa 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

THUS THOSE CHILDREN SHALL LIVE TO BE AT LEAST ONE HUNDRED YEARS OLD AT THIS TIME, AND GOD'S PEOPLE WILL BE CALLED. EZEKIEL CONTINUES:

ze 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, Eze 37:2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. SO, WHO ARE THESE BONES? THEY ARE THOSE WHO WERE NOT CONVERTED IN THIS LIFE. THEY WILL BE RAISED TO FLESH AND BLOOD AT THE END OF A THOUSAND YEARS AFTER CHRIST RETURNS AND THEN THEY WILL COME TO KNOW THEIR GOD AND REPENT AND ACCEPT HIM THEN.

Eze 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Further, every single part of the holiday is a lie. Jesus said that the proof that He was the Messiah was that He would be in the grave three days and three nights (Mat. 12:40). If you go by their Friday crucifixion, Sunday resurrection account, there are 2 nights and one day.

In addition, Jesus was not resurrected Sunday morning. He went in the grave sunset and came out of the grave at sunset. When the women arrived at the grave it was dark and He was already gone (John 20:1).

To add insult to injury, this holiday is one of the most important celebrations to the pagans along with Samhain--halloween, the celebration of the Lord of the dead--Satan. The Pagans and witches know who they worship. The professing Christians do not.

Isn't it amazing that so few question Santa? I mean red suit, comes down the chimney. The fire God became morphed into Saturn, and the vast number of those professing Christ are actually keeping the Saturnalia thinking they are dragging a tree (an idol) into their house for Jesus.

I believe that a temple will be built. Not only does Hebrew University teach the Levites how to perform the various priestly duties, most of the utensils, vestments and other aspects of a temple are already created and in place. There are blue prints and the only thing that has stopped them from building it is the Dome of the Rock. However, it is not proven that the Dome does not sit on the temple site, but more where the sacrifices were. Remember there is a great rock there not temple ruins, and God said they were not to have an altar to sacrifice on that had a cut stone. The Dome is where they killed the animals not where the holy of holies was. That is where a shrine called the dome of the tablets exists.

The reason that I believe a temple must be in existence before Christ comes is this:

I am not an adventist. I don't believe that Christ has returned, but I am a Sabbath keeper. I believe we are to keep the ten commandments. So, you are not alone in that.
