If they are a single ,unemployed person due to disability or other extenuating circumstances i dont get it either.If their lazy,an addict or playing the system I dont really have much concern for them either.

It's kind of like what George Carlin says in lots of his stand-up bits. The government doesn't care about the homeless. There are segments of society, which show the worst of us, that they don't want to talk about. They talk about reducing taxes. Guess what folks, reducing taxes doesn't give the homeless an opportunity to get a home. Reducing taxes don't keep people from filing bankruptcy due to out of control medical costs.
And reducing taxes, I'm sorry to tell my dear Republican friends, do not, in reality, create jobs. What it does is give corporations more money to invest in new technology which eliminates even more jobs. |

Paul want's to abolish the fed which would mean everyone would have less tax to pay whether youre single or not. As I think we would all agree that tax that goes to pay interest on a national debt that cost nothing to create is a complete waste. |

My tax dollars are wasted on the public teachers -and by association, their unions- that do absolutely no good in this country. THAT'S the sad part of the tax-paying state. We're creating a country that cannot read or write and will continue to fester in a so-called minority blaming everyone but themselves. The last thing we need is the getting the government to solve it by throwing more money at the problem. The solution starts with looking in the mirror and working your way up from there. |

You can create another government program that doesn't work, you can throw money at a problem, but "addressing working to fix the issue" (whatever that means) starts with individual responsibility. Blaming those around them is counterproductive. |

Not as far off the thread title as your comment about "corporate perks threw (sic) their lobbyists" is. Not any further off than someone mentioning cutting taxes won't create jobs. Not any further off than someone saying electing Ron Paul will have everyone paying less taxes by abolishing the Fed and putting Ben Bernanke (know who he is?) out of work. Besides, her thread title wasn't exactly clear cut now, was it?
