you really should set it up so that if there is no activity in say 3 months you send an email to the user asking if they are still interested or should they suspend the account, after a year of no activity it should be suspended regardless

way too many profiles which say the user hasn't accessed the profile in months and some which outright claim to be 10 years younger in their comments than the profile states signifying that they left a while ago, if people are really hooking up on here they may not necessarily be updating their relationship status a-la facebook (eg no-longer looking/single)

would certainly weedout the huge match lists you can generate on this list

The Site understands your concerns...

But due to the format the Site chooses is it is up to you to deactivate profiles when one is no longer using it.. One can always look at a profile if they say not seen in over a month that will tell you they have not been on in a while... And no guarantee they will respond to you..

At this time the Site does not purge profiles nor is in the the planning at this time..

I agree totally with this suggestion, it really would be sensible to make it clear when you join that inactivity for three months will result in your profile being 'hidden' from view by other members. Of course, it will reappear immediately should you log on again.

Please consider looking at this. love

Perhaps, y'all should just start your OWN dating site that has the rules you deem fit.
I side with Kristi and Mingle 2.
This ain't Burger King!

Perhaps you might concentrate on those that are here more than those that are no longer here...just sayin'
