If I don't enjoy a man in dating, I definately don't want to live with him.
I 'm active and on the go don't need a couch potato waiting on a meal.

If you peel a couch potato, what do you make out of it?? Haven't found a recipe to use for one of those! what

I'm doing the living single thing but not because I chose to. I did meet a woman 5 years ago. We became friends real fast. She had her house and I had mine. I don't think a day went by when we didn't at least talk on the phone. We were together most all the time for 2 years. It was just really great! We lived 10 minutes apart too. I would do that kind of thing over again for sure if it ever happened. I did not meet her on a dating site.

Who would love to have a livin mate?

As opposed to a dead one?
Count me in...

Yeah, the dead ones are lazy; they just lay there. Try to be romantic with one and you're charged with "abuse of a corpse".

I'm sure you have a Live one!

Don't need a couch potato waiting for a meal nor will I be a maid to a slob. So, probably just stay like I am. It's far less complicated and there is no drama. Been alone so long now that I don't think I could change and certainly don't believe in changing someone else. It's just not the right thing to do.

I have been on my own so long that it is more often that I wouldn't want the additional 'work' of worrying about yet another person. I have done enough of that for a lifetime at this point with two husbands and two kids. And I kind of like getting closer to a period where I can be a bit more selfish finally.

On the other hand, there are times, when the fantasy of the movies and good memories of good moments makes me miss having companionship, but I usually come back to the realism of the 'hard' part of it, and I'm really out of practice with concerning myself of the moods, egos, and expectations of another adult person in my life.
