she stares out the window, wishing you were near
but the only thing that reflects is her breath upon the glass
she misses you so much sometimes, and wonders why you cant be here
her voice and her cries are the only sound that is now heard
you didnt come for her like you promised, her emotions are erotically stirred
she looked to you to become that hero sheso greatly needed
the one to take her away from the pain, but you did nothing but feed it
she lies awake at night,she wonders do you do the same
or are you out there living a life, while she silently drowns, and you enjoy the fame
she heartbroken now, has no hope or desire to even move on
she feels empty inside, and realizes you're forever gone
she lays breathless, weak, and her heart feels nothing at all
she'd love to be strong, and shake it off, but she cant even crawl
she wants answers, but doesnt even know what the questions to ask should even be
for if she was someone else right now she would laugh and dance, just to feel and be free
but she lies, lies to everyone about the tears that fill her dark brown stained eyes
for if she had a chance, she would just choose to forget and die
but when she walks to the mirror the reflection that looks back at her isnt what she feels inside
the woman that looks back, is a woman who has stregnth, and wont let her spirit die
so she take a deep breath, and exhales real slow
thats when she realizes, she has now come full circle, she has let you go.
