just a curious question... mine is yes when i was 16 i went in my moms bedroom closet slowly tore off tape peeked and rewrapped... could not tell... x-mas came i was all like... oh wow!!! thanks like i didnt see them...... was the worst x-mas of my life..... sort of felt like when acting surprised about my presents that i was lieing.... what a way to feel like on x-mas...... lastly my answer is i have never done this again!!! so just the one yr ...although i will shake presents from time to time

i never peeked but have a good feel and shake surprised they survive lol

oh hell yeah and i was damn good at it. i took blow dryers to tape , re-wrapped the entire thing, scoured receipts any thing you coul imagine. but no none of that holds any interest for me anymore, i'd actually prefer people not get me anything anymore.

I done it once...but my mother had put secret codes on the packages to stop us knowing whose was whose...I peeked at my brothers present instead...I still carry the mental scar of thinking I was getting Meccano for Christmas...

i've done worse, when i was married to my ex-husband, he didnt know what to get me, so i'd go to the stores and pick out what i wanted. so when xmas came i wasnt surprized at all..LOL..some men just dont know what to get and if u let them go pick it out, they end up pickin out the wrong thing..

Yes I did -- my mom would have all the presents wrapped in a spare room and when she used to go out I'd sneak in unwrap the ones for me; if they were clothes I'd try them on. Then I would rewrap everything. Never got caught either.

sweet i disagree what they want to give is the right thing.... i wouldnt want to pick my present.... i also dont really like giving ideas either kinda strange cause it should come from their heart...

Once when I was little...
I opened a present from my Grandma on the end of the package...
Found out it was a shoe box with a new Barbie doll that I
wanted in there. Then I sealed the end of the present back up.
No one ever knew. Later I was mad at myself for peeking and
knowing what I got. I thought for sure Santa had seen what I
did, and I was in trouble for sure. Thought I was going to lose
all my presents that year- cause I was naughty.

my mom caught me a couple of times and took it back to the store.

i remember i and and she felt bad and went and got it back..and told me "dont ever peek again"!!!

oh heck yeah I peeked...one year when I was 15 or 16, my Dad had no idea what to get me so he followed me all around the mall. If I stopped and showed an interest in something for longer then 10 mins he bought it for me. So I kinda knew in advance what I was getting.

Then this year my sweetie took me shopping on Thanksgiving night and basically did the same thing. I already have all my Christmas goodies, since I probably won't get to see him on Christmas.

lol teddy well i was 16 and certainly not innocent!!! but i guess u could i still had that feeling u were talking about kind of not deserving to get the gifts as i opened them....

my mom did the same thing after she found out i peaked on year. and that just made it worse for me because i had a little sister, so i never knew which was mine. peeking just made it worse.
