I play drums.....But I haven`t played in a while. It wouldn`t take long for the rust to fall off if i ever get another set. My mom`s pots and pans were my greatest inspiration....Then came the underground rock of the late 60`s, and as they say, the rest is history...Was in a few bands, but everytime ya got something together to go out and play, the ego trips would appear..and ya know the rest of that sh*t.

Taught my 2 sons how to play drums...they were lucky, they didn`t have to use mom`s pots and pans. They cut their teeth on Zeppelin,Rush,Pink floyd,Uriah Heep, Humble Pie, the list goes on and on.

My 5 year old nephew lives with me now...When i play the Zeppelin dvd of The Royal Albert Hall concert, he picks up a bath brush and uses it for his guitar...He loves Jimmy Page`s style of playing. So I guess a Gibson guitar, the electric sound effects pedals, and 4 Marshall cabinets with two 300 watt heads are going to be a future investment...He also wants me to buy another set of drums so we can jammmmmmmmmmm. My kinda kid.

Started with clarinet around 3rd grade then picked up sax shortly after. Messed with guitar a little around the same time. Started playing guitar (some bass) seriously around 9th grade when I realized Metallica just wasn't the same on a woodwind :P Been slowly learning trumpet, piano, drums and flute since just for the heck of it.

To quote Rick Nelson from the song Garden Party: " You can`t please everyone, ya gotta please yourself." Go 4 it and enjoy your talent.

I play guitar and sing, bass and some keyboards. My inspiration was KISS when I was in the 4th grade, playing air guitar to the Destroyer album made me wanna be a rockstar, but later on Randy Rhoads from Ozzy's band made me wanna be a guitar player not just a rockstar.drinker drinker drinker drinker

I always liked the sound of the electric guitar.. and at one point some friends gave me (an acoustic) guitar for my birthday so I am learning to play... in a way it is like a preparation for the electric. Although I dont spend much time in it and I dont know if I will get an electric one.

Maybe I would be more driven with an electric anyways.

I also like the sound of the violin. I would love to be able to play that. It seems just... perfect.
