When you hear "Cold Coffee" you probably think the coffee just sitting on the table to long and got cold. Cold Coffee came from extend coffee longer to save money. Then later it was chilled in an Icebox or fridge to take on a picnic or what have you.

Cold Coffee

1) Brew a pot of coffee as normal.
2) Empty brewed coffee into a container.
3) Brew a seconded time using the grinds and one quarter amount of water for a normal brew.
4) Mix the weak coffee with the regular brewed coffee in the container.
5) Put in the refrigerator or other means of chilling.

Fixings

Most prefer to leave the Cold Coffee black with sugar or some other sweetening added to it. Whatever you choose to mix into the Cold Coffee should be to your taste or yor best judgement when serving it to others.

Sometimes Iike to put leftover coffee in fridge overnight then in morning put flavored coffee creamer ,( I like coconut flavored one) add ice cubes and drink it that way.
