The old boys are having 'quality time' at a temple town near where I live. Place is cordoned off to media & public. A couple of War ships deployed off the coast!

Seems like the Trump-Putin handshake.

The difference is China has five times the GDP.

Indians, five times happier.
As someone said, it's like the dragon versus the honey bees.
Funny how happiness comes from a lot of angry buzz

Perhaps their smirks and body language tell more than their handshake . It is just all staged for the cameras

So nice to hear your voice!

Consider these two:

Both politicians are leading 1.3 billion people each! How to feed them in years to come with diminishing resources?

The backdrop is an ancient temple sculpture (7th century). Both countries, or geographies if one so prefers; have a historical weight. The same thread of reason that explains Aussie nostalgy with GB.

Somehow I feel that Trump tariff & sanctions have jolted world leaders to rethink.

what if American market was closed, say to Asia for example.

hello jai waving i Think china would survive better than America . China's economics are mostly centred around export . They have concentration camps supplying cheap labour ... seemingly the cheapest in the world !!!! They continue to rise in terms of global economics and that is despite American tariffs . The same cannot be said of America . I wonder how much their economy relies on cheap Chinese imports

As for feeding billions . Those in power seem more interested in economic gain and power at any cost . . resources to feed people is likely at the bottom of the political pyramid .
