Well daddy is out, healing, they still have the drain in but that should come out relatively soon. Right now he's resting. They're running some tests on the fluid, but at least he's out and okay.

Thank You God for watching over my earthly daddy

And Yess I still can't wait to drink a glass to cheer in 2008...2007 had its good points...quite a few of them actually...but those that were good will help make 2008 be that much greate r

Glad to hear your dad is doing better, Tiff. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and thoughts.

I have to agree with you, 2007 was nothing great in my book either, let's hope that 2008 is a lot better. Take care.

Tiff.... Just want you to know that our prayers are being sent for you, and your family at this time. I know how hard it is to have a sick parent. I was told my mom wouldn't be here today, but ya know she is still here and THAT is the PRESENT or gift of the moment. It's through the struggles we face that we often grow the most. awww why suz so very well said, thank you so much for that and yesssssss I must say that even though it wasn't as serious of surgery this time around (besides the very important fact of the location of it). His first surgery was a very long, very extensive and had not really bad 'statistics' ...and though we don't follow statistics...you still have those in your head. SO yes...I am most very thankful to have my daddy here and alive. I mean I'm 23 yrs old and I call my dad, daddy...I love him sooo much, such a good man to all he encounters, was in the coast guard for twenty years as a pilot (him and I want to fly together sometime...no I'm not a pilot yet...he wants to teach me ;) ) and raised...if not always directly eight children to be the fine...very large group of people I call family. So yes, but I am sooooo glad I decided NOT to go back to Wyoming...I miss it...a lot...but I want to be here in Ohio...and its a want...not just a need. God's helped me find new friends and reacquaint myself with old ones to help me feel like I'm staying here for myself as well as my family.
Well anyhow, some of that was off topic, but, since this is my topic... (and lol my Daddy understands my randomness) (both my earthly father and my heavenly )

Well I'm at home (really its not far from where I usually live), watching the kids. My mom went to go visit my daddy in the hospital, he's in ICU still...last night he had an incident...his pulse was racing faster than it had ever done before (the surgery was supposed to help this). The doctors apparently don't know why? Mom got my daddy a little Christmas tree for the hospital room, we have two very simple, very pretty trees set up at home. (I'll take pics and post it on my profile sometime).

I hate to post this....because last time I jinxed it...but daddy's most likely coming home!!!!!

The only thing that stinks is that I won't get to spend much time at home when he does I go back to work at 5...so I go back to Sandusky and with gas prices its hard to make continued visits back and forth
