YAY!!! I bought a new mattress today!!! The one I really had wanted, even though that was quite expensive. My daughter and I managed to get an extra couple hundred Euros discount, phew! It takes up to 7 weeks to get delivered, so hopefully I can manage until that time as the only option I have on my old mattress is pain or pain or pain, no matter whether I shift a bit or not. Woohoo! Definitely WOOHOO! hahaha. Very happy that we succeeded! Hopefully means better sleep and a lot less trouble with ailments, including vertigo. So I'm hoping it's going to be delivered sooner, hihi.

She gave the latest delivery date, or week rather. So if something changes it shouldn't be any later really. There was another mattress that I had contemplated that could've been delivered this week too. But it wasn't as comfortable for me as the one I bought now. The reason it was in stock as that was the most popular mattress. Probably because it is still reasonably affordable and mine is a tad more expensive. But I'll gladly wait if it means I'm getting the right one for me for the next 10 years or so! Must say I'm going to be glad when I have it. I cannot recall being this uncomfortable and in pain due to a mattress.

Dentist in 45 mins to have a cavity taken care off. Not so much afraid of the dental work anymore but am concerned these days of getting dizzy when I'm laying there with a drill in my mouth. And it's upper jaw, meaning I will be tilted downward a bit even. Fingers crossed!

It got a bit awkward when she had to use the crude drill after the regular one as that vibrates like crazy and reverberates through your entire head, and of course that seems to last forever. But I got through it with a few minor scares, hihi. So that tooth is fixed, and another one needed a layer of filling that had disappeared since using an electric toothbrush. No anaesthetic for that, it wasn't a cavity. So no incidents, and anaesthetic is almost gone now, thank goodness!

I had a root canal done once and on a whim decided to bring my Ipod with my favorite rock songs on it and it took everything I had not to move/jam/"drum"/etc. while in the chair. Turned out to be a fantastic idea and the loud music in my ears with my absolute favorite songs made the entire event damn near pleasurable. Highly recommended

Highly recommended Root canals are a pain as it takes so long. I don't think your method would work for me though. I prefer if the dentist says what she's going to do so I have an idea how far it's done and how much longer it's going to take. In itself not really scared of the dentist anymore as she's absolutely great and her assistants generally are too. These days it's more the position they put you in and getting my head triggered (vertigo) that concerns me.

Sometimes people say / think it's smoking, but I got a helluva lot of dental issues when menopause started so I'm inclined to think it's related to that. Oestrogen has to do with bones, absorbing calcium, etc. and oestrogen levels drop like a brick when you hit menopause. I had normal quantity of teeth issues, no big deal really, then menopause began and it got insane. Now I'm through menopause one can hope it settles again, haha.

Look for soothing eyedrops. I always buy eyebright when my eyes need some soothing. Works fast and really good!
