If JSH is a dating site then why in heavens name don't people post a picture of themselves. It is such a waste of time posting cartoons etc.... Show yourselves, sell yourselves.....

i have both, i even posted a pic of me not looking my greatest,

but sometimes the little avatars like some i have on my profile are fun to play around with and give a good change up.. but i always have at least one of my real photos in my profile

This is not just a dating site. Many ppl are here to make friends or simply socialize. Hint: the option to select what you are looking for, ranging from friendship to intimate encounter. If you are upset ppl don't have photos, then limit your search option to include ppl that do. We all have pet peeves about profiles.

Here are some of mine:
1.)Ppl who write : My kids are my world and will always come first. "Duh" If you need to write that you've no idea how silly that looks.
2.) "If you want to know just ask". No, you take 15 minutes of being thoughtful and introspective and type it out for us. If you can't be bothered, why should I?
3.) Ppl who talk about their previous relationship or negative attitudes about the opposite sex. Get over it! You're advertising you're NOT ready to date.
4.) Ppl whp post photos of themselves with other women/men or their children. Worst yet, professional photos of just this very thing. Take your kids out and crop out the ex!!!

See, you're not alone in your frustration.

now now be nice people.to "sell" onesself means prostitution.which is illegal in many places.the correct term to use i believe is "PROMOTE".
