Topic: max 5 messages to another person?

I was chatting with somebody and was answering a couple of questions and would give my number. For this I used 5 separate (short) messages. In the 6th message I stated my number. However it seemed that 5 was the maximum to the same person, so the 6th could not be sent. How can I now send my number? Is there a reset every day to the max 5 messages to the same person?
The problem is that I did not ask questions in my 5 messages as I wanted to do this in message 6 and further. So there might be no reason now for that person to answer, as there were no questions asked from my side... Was not aware of this maximum and don’t know what to do now.. Anybody an idea?

I could be wrong but if you have sent 5 messages the other person has to answer you before you can send anymore.

Let's just say you blew it !!
If after five innocent , messages you did not receive a reply , it means the other person did not find your messages were worth replying to , for whatever reason or sees no potential to move forward, then your sixth message will not go thru!!!
I think this system was put in place to prevent cyber stalking .... but I maybe wrong !!!!

Firstly just be wary of giving out your number to someone , especially if it someone you don’t really know . So probably a blessing for you that your 6th message didn’t go through if it was someone who you was not so familiar with .

Yes there is a cap at 5 messages , to help stop people spamming others . So when that person responds you will be able to send up to another 5 again .

I don’t agree with slim though about you blowing it , or whatever , as not everyone is constantly online to see the messages when they are sent .
And I don’t send all one message in one , I usually send multiples ones .
So you just gotta be patient now in waiting for them to reply to you as at the end of the day people still have lives they gotta get on with . Of course if it’s someone you talk with regularly and they suddenly don’t respond after a while , then there is a chance they no longer want to .
But patience is key

'Why did I encounter an email limit?

We had to place a limit on first-contact emails because of spammers.
Basically, this cuts down the number of first-contact emails that
one can send within a two-to-three-day period (we can't divulge anymore
information about this limit). However, a member affected by this
limit will still be able to send an unlimited number of emails to those
with whom he or she has already had some back-and-forth. It should
be noted that MinglePlus members are exempt.'
