The coast guard and other first responders are risking their lives helping and saving others displaced by hurricane Ian, as they should and they are doing a miraculous job there. Even Joe Biden called to thank C.G. Personnel. He thanked one individual personally and told him how important what he and others were doing, and what a credit to the C.G. he was… but thanks to joe Biden’s vax mandate this “ credit to the guard” and many more will be kicked out of the C.G. in about 30 days. Now that the pandemic is over will joe Biden have the common sense decency to remove that mandate. I really dought it. He hasn’t shown he has common sense or any decency so far, why start now.

. The report says that Alejandro Mayorkas secretary of Homeland Security knew Two hours before he went on live tv , that the border guards on horseback did not strap or trample immigrants. But he doubled down on the lie that border guards had acted horrific that brought back scenes of slavery. . And Biden later made the same statements promising to punish these guards, knowing they were innocent of what he was basically convicting them of. Why would anybody support a person that would stoop that low. |

Joe Biden’s version of America under his term is a disgrace . All Americans should be thoroughly disgusted by his attempts to ruin the lives of many to appease the few far left ding bats that seem to rule over him. I was curious why my statement about P.Draws was offensive??? The other? I’m happy we did agree on something. I didn’t correlate the “ come on man” remark with you agreeing . Totally my bad! But none of it was aimed at you personally pump… it was nice hearing from you again.

 Well I did change it to unmentionables. Sorry if my typical guy comments offend, I’m just a ole country boy that’s not current with what words we aren’t supposed to say. And I’m not really looking to learn…maybe that’s the problem with this country’s deep division. After many generations of different and diverse cultures in American history , we are expected to change the way we socialize with each other in our own separate cultures just because some are easily offended. And some aren’t so willing to accept that they are “ classless” by using words they have been using for years. Disagreeing doesn’t mean you don’t like someone pump. We can disagree and still be Friends. That’s what people forget when debating politics. Some are more passionate than others and it doesn’t mean they want to bully anyone , just the opposite in they are interested in what that person believes and why. Not a bad way to get to know people.

Either joe Biden is the spineless ineffective shell of a leader we thought he was or he and his family are so bound by ties to communist China that he lets China float a ballon over the United States that is collecting vital info and send that same info back to china. He should have ordered it shot down already. His defense dept. says the actions of China flying a spy ballon over our military bases , and nuke sites is unacceptable as they watch it and apparently “ accept it” …. This administration is a total cluster#uck when it comes to securing the United States.

OT: Biden ordered the balloon to be shot down on Wednesday and the Pentagon advised that they wait until it was over the Atlantic for safety reasons. Clearly officials assessed that the threat the balloon posed was not worth the safety risks. I'm not annoyed with the waiting until it reached water to shoot it down, what I am annoyed with is why tf it was able to even make it here? Shoot it down before it gets here? Was it that hard? Did they let it loose right off our coast? If so, whyd we let them get so close? Even though I'm not a republican, I can criticize when deserved.

I think it keeps our wits sharp, of corse you have a point about holidays and political discussions. I try to avoid the subject w/ my nephew. (Trump hater but I still love him). ..like you, I agree we should have shot it down over the Alaskan wilderness. They were tracking it for a week before we heard anything about it…. As far as relationship material , I never let my political beliefs interfere with what is most important to me , my personal life. With all the technology floating around and so many things built in China it's not that hard to track everybody, and everything. We send weather balloons up all the time as do many places so I would guess China thought they could get away this. Anything visually picked up by the ballon most likely could have also been picked up by a satellite. Do we think the balloon was filled with Coronavirus? Or some new virus? It is a big deal when others trespass on our private places, but in our world economy with the world wide web I'm not sure how much they are actually gaining? |

It’s hard to believe China's reaction to shooting down their huge ballon , visible to anybody looking up, would be a reaction of surprise and shock. I think they were testing our presidents readiness and willingness to respond to a domestic attack of any degree of danger to the USA … in my opinion he failed . Not only by not shooting it down immediately after it crossed into Alaska but by how his administration tried hiding it until a camera man in Montana saw it and called his Governor to report it, and the Governor had not been notified by the presidents team at that point. To not inform the heads of states of a potential attack to their citizens is a dereliction of duty.

The whole "China balloon" incident troubles me. It troubles me it was allowed to travel so far, not just by the United States but also by Canada. I understand wanting to bring down safely but I'm troubled that a decision was made that it needed to be over the Atlantic for safeties sake. I'm troubled that the balloon was brought down with a single shot. I'm not an expert but I'm troubled that the balloon wasn't shot with smaller artillery rounds that would have caused it to descend slowly so it sustain less damage on impact and remain largely intact while it was over unpopulated land.
Perhaps I'm troubled because I'm too much of a pragmatist? |
