I can not locate the instant messenger anymore. i went to instant message a couple friends the other day and could not find it. And no they did not have it turned off, as they showed up as online in their profiles. Can someone help me find it again? Or tell me what happened to it if it is gone?

daniel, click on your friend's profile. at the bottom of their picture, there should be several options...email, add to favorites, add to friends, report abuse, send to friend...and instant message. click this last one. be well.

there will not be a instant message tab unless they have it turned on

it wont be there unless the person is online

I have looked and it is not there. Also, they are marked as being online so the tab should be there and it isnt. I know about how it turns off the notice of wether they are online or not if they turn messenger off, but their profile stated they were online yet no im button...

Daniel, this happened to me the other day..........click on settings, then turn off the IM's, give it a minute and click it on again. That worked for me......hope it works for you!
