I can please myself far better than anyone else can please me.

When I live alone I only have to clean when I feel like my place needs to be cleaned. I'm not June Cleaver. I have better things to do.

I have total control over the remote.

I can have as many or as few pets as I want.

I can decided when and if someone comes over.

I only have to get dressed if I plan on going some where.

I can be as load as I want.

Tonight I could get as drunk as I want and post random crap on the internet and it's only my business if I want to.

OOHHH ... don't forget the fact that I will never let myself down like so many others have in the past.

In my twenties I ripped it about as much as a person could. I gets old after a while. When you have kids, everything is different. FOR THE BETTER...

I used to get into really awful short-term relationships just because I liked having someone around. For the first month or two, anyway.

I learned that it really doesn't make any sense to be in a relationship where you spend more time trying to devise a graceful way out, then you do actually enjoying the other person's company.

Now, I'd much rather be alone than be with the wrong person.

And I'd much rather be alone by myself, than feel alone while I'm IN a relationship.

because being alone is fine. Not all people are used to/want affection all the time. I know for a fact that I wouldn't be used to being with someone besides family all the time because it's foreign to me. I like being alone and doing what I want when I want.

Maybe we all have not met the right one, or maybe we are free spirits, untamed, wild, free as the wind, and a little craze.....

i would rather be alone then with the wrong person. i agree with lex. i wont settle and if it means remaining single, thats ok.
