I suspect there may be a little more to this story than you are sharing here..

I hear a whole lot more to this, than suddenly your job is taking precedent over your relationship.

huh

Is she willing to support you? Probably not. Sounds like she may need to grow up. We all have to make a living. I would not give up your job. If she truely loved you she would be more understanding and take what time she could spend with you. I would say let her go and look for someone more understanding and worthy of you. Just my opinion. If I was in love with someone, I would wait for that person no matter what or how long they were gone.

she should understand that the job puts food on the table.at least you come home. my uncle lives out of the us more then in for 20 years or more and they are just as much in love as day one. they have 2 kids and all is good.if she is having a problem with you working it might be a good time to think hard is it ok what she is doing to you,it sounds like a controlling thing.john

From a woman's view point... she wants out...your job is not the issue...she knew about your job when you both started this relationship. Keep working and especially if you enjoy what you do...Happy New Year everyone...

Geeeez, lets all just slander this woman based on a handful of words, all pointing at her being the bad person, and not even consider the other's reasons for this relationship ending.

I get a little tired of people, who will not accept their part, and just expect everyone to believe the one side of the story.

Well, perhaps you can upgrade, cause women are easy to come by, especially if you want a low maintenance, take for granted one.

Piece of cake.

NEXT.

No Bodys bashing her..... she's just not being honest.. she wants to hit the trail but doesn't have the guts to be honest and state the real resons that she want to end the relationship....

i can see this would upset her but does she not have her own hobbies, life, job to keep her occupied.. at end of day you got to work my dad worked 12 hour days to put food on table and my parents were together near on 40 years before my mum passed away...they found time to be together and did things to gether in spare time...its life and she needs realise this

When you get home, do you eat and pass out? Do you pay attention to her? Ask how her day went? I'm a guy who's worked 12 hour shifts and was happy to get home. Still took the time to see how her day went, to discuss whatever, spend time with her. Support works both ways as does doing the work necessary for a relationship to work.
