I know this has probably been posted before but how is it than when chatting to someone and shortly after they have logged out you look at their profile it says "last seen in the last four days ?"

It seems times have been screwed up on here for quite a while now. I've had new people look at my profile and it says they did days ago.

I know this has probably been posted before but how is it than when chatting to someone and shortly after they have logged out you look at their profile it says "last seen in the last four days ?" Do you know almost exactly how long the time gap between the two moments of one's logging out and your viewing his/her profile was? I will venture a guess as to how the “Last seen" widget is supposed to work. Based on the system’s Pacific Time or some other Time Zone, a new day started during this gap. If not, you would have read “Last seen within the last day".
