My mum was from Scotland but I'm from Montreal, QC, Canada.. there are scammers everywhere these days on the net.. the lazy 'tards need to find a real job (in my opinion)

typically one way to tell is to see when they joined and how many posts they've made.. you can also read their posts by clicking on the "orange#" next to posts.. the more there is.. the more likely they're real..

you shud also look at the date on the right.. that's when the last post was made.. and you can click on their name to see if they're still active

cheers 🥂

I spent a great deal of time socializing online with a woman from down western Fife way, from about 15 years ago to maybe 7 or 8 years ago.
(Which my wife was well aware of - I never tried to hide it from her.)
I had to put an end to it because I realized I had started to develop feelings toward her that would be detrimental to my marriage.
(Something my wife was NOT well aware of, because I didn't tell her why I stopped hanging out online with the Scottish woman. It would only have hurt her feelings.)

She & I were a fantastic fit personality-wise & she was almost a direct opposite of my wife, which I assume is why I had fun hanging out with her & started to feel the way I did.
Very much like my wife though, she was also incredibly beautiful & looked far younger than her actual age.

I have lately had thoughts about trying to go back in time & pick up the relationship now that I have been widowered for 38 months but you really can't recreate the past - that's a fool's errand.
