My only remaining long-time bestie bought 2 lottery tickets on 2 different consecutive days 2 weeks ago and BOTH of them hit - for $2,000 & $1,000.
I told him I thought he should share some of that luck of his and give me all the winnings, minus the cost of the 2 tickets. I can't understand why he raised an eyebrow at the suggestion, after all, to give is divine and giving always brings the giver more joy than the recipient - or so I've repeatedly heard from the churchy-types. Maybe I should have dragged him into a nearby church before making the suggestion? |

Also thinking that "Alexandra" has used photos of two different women for some reason. Can we have one each? You don't think greedy enough Don. The correct question should be if you can have both of them at the same time.
I AM a very generous man however, so I would politely as possible ask if they are open to the idea of one or both being shared with you too. You can thank all 3 of us later if it works out okay.

My bad.
I made the assumption O.P. was asking how to get their own profile unlocked, as I've become something of the resident expert on that.
(A total of 7 times so far & 2 of me are still serving life sentences. 1 of me was actually born in the slammer & has NEVER been on the outside.) |

Wondering why Fishingman has a profile photo of his belly instead of showing his face...
Ask the AI-bot that deleted the first 5 photos I tried to upload, then decided my belly wasn't as likely to scare women off as my face was. I typically try to avoid this place with that profile since the last 3 times it got the pac-man treatment immediately after doing so, but forgot I was on it when I did it this time. Still sitting here wondering how long before I hear the clang of steel slamming shut on it again. Because I spent the last 25 years living under 2 personalities (3rd person for my sports & opinion writing & 1st person for chit-chatting on forums) I'm really more comfortable with a split personality for this dating site. FishingMan typically handles my romantic interests while OldCoot socializes informally. I do NOT attempt to fool or trick anyone about it, I notify any significant interested parties almost immediately that I exist in a bifurcated fashion on here, but as I stated, it's more normal than not to compartmentalize myself online. I conduct myself the same in either profile, with the utmost respect for anyone I communicate with. I just spent two hours being nice to a pretty blatant scammer in Nigeria that appeared as in Tennessee, confessed to actually being in Iowa, then changed their location to a Nigerian location when I finally made it clear they were barking up a tree with no game up it and closed by adding that LYING about where you are is a REALLY bad look if you are trying to start up a long-term romantic connection. |

Beyond Mars & Venus by John Gray. Not finished it yet. In the immortal phrasing of a regular here; hihi - That sounds like a compilation of "Men are from Mars & Women are from Venus" that crashed into "Fifty Shades of Grey".

Not the last book I read but I would certainly recommend Eric Hoffer's "The True Believer".
It will give one great insight into what is currently happening to Americans at this moment, even though he published it in 1951, following WWII. If you are not a "reader" this is a perfect book for you. It is written in a small number of short, concise chapters, almost like he was trying to teach children & young adults about the complex subject of what happened to the German peoples' society in the 1930s & 1940s at a time when your average adult was not in the habit of deep, introspective, analysis. We still aren't, so it's a very useful teaching guide even today. Really good "bathroom" book as each chapter times out at about the same amount of time one might cop a squat for their daily ablutions. Typically I keep 2 books going, 1 novel + 1 anthology or collection of short stories. That way I have something to read suited to my allotted time or desired interest to immerse myself in a full-length read. Currently those 2 books are; "Pew! Pew!; Bad versus Worse" - an anthology edited by M. D. Cooper (4th of 5 books in the Pew! Pew! anthology series.) "To Challenge Heaven" - Book 3 in the "Out of the Dark" series by David Weber & Chris Kennedy (Vlad the Impaler takes on the Galactic Hegemony & revenges the near eradication of humankind by orbital bombardment.) |

Glad I wasn't born XX.
It's gotta be rough trying to discern which kind of "sincere" a man is. There are a lot who are "sincerely" thinking; "Call me baby & I'll put the best 30 seconds of love and happiness of your life, in you." (I'm the honest type, I only offer 10 seconds & charge extra for the 20 second overtime period.)

Kinda can't as "unmatch" notifies the algorithm to exclude that particular profile from repeated searches.
There is a work-around, if you can remember where the profile claims to be located. In the search field there is a box with a drop-down arrow that by default says "Near Me". Click the arrow & type the location of the profile you want to recover into the exposed blank field. It will give you several similarly named locations and you click the exact one you want. Then set the distance to something like 100-150 miles of that chosen location & expand the "Age" criteria widely enough to encompass that particular profile's "claimed" age. (Not everyone is fully truthful with the age disclosure that appears in their header - particularly women seeking an older gentleman than themselves - but men seeking younger or older also rig the "Age" criteria of the search algorithm to produce women's profiles in the age bracket they are actually seeking & to get themselves included in the search results of women seeking a man in the "claimed" age bracket.) "Age" claims are one of the bigger problem issues on this site. Very early on I had a woman disclose to me that she was actually 42, not the 62 her header stated, when I laughed & said "if she was 62, I was 138". She said it was because she was seeking an older - (& presumably tamer & more sincere) - man to get a relationship going with. Because you have changed the search parameters a re-set occurs and the profile you "unmatched" should reappear as an offering near that location. To permanently lock it in, hit the red heart-shaped "Like" icon &/or the yellow "Nudge" icon. If you also hit the blue "Chat" icon and send a message that profile will remain available via your "Mail" tab. |

Spoken like a woman.
Guys, not all but most - the easier the better. No games, no pretending to be virtuous, just bada-boom, bada-bing, wham-bam-thank you ma'am, call me again if you need some more. Sad, but true 95% of the time, no less. What makes it 100% is if the woman is so far out of your league it could never happen. Then you'll do whatever she asks & no quarter expected. Except me, because I'm "special" - somebody no name revealed, dropped me on my head & ever since I've stubbornly demanded there be true love involved first. Prolly explains why I'm celibate.

... Are we ready for some FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!? NO. Watching professional sports is a waste of my (and everybody else's) time. Careful, Son, yer talkin' to a Packers fan. It ain't a sport with us, it's a personal religion, ranking above family & money. Don't think badly of us either, since it's passed on in our DNA the family is not only religious about it too, but EVERY Packers fan is a part of our families. |

Sheesh, I feel positively guilty about the fact that other than dying in 2006 I've only ever been sick 3 times in my entire adult life - all three times bedridden with a really bad case of the flu for a few days.
Still have all my body parts too, appendix & tonsils still in place and doing whatever it is they are supposed to be doing. I broke a knuckle bowling once, does that count? Never got the Co-Vid even. |
