I married my late wife just two weeks after we met, and we shared 25 beautiful years together. It wasn’t planned, but when something feels right, you follow it—and for us, fate was real. Losing her was the hardest part of my life, but I still carry that belief in meaningful connection. Now, I’m here hoping to meet a woman who values honesty, depth, and companionship. Life after 50 comes with its own kind of wisdom and clarity, and I’d love to hear from others who believe that real love and new beginnings are still possible at any age.

Losing a great spouse is very difficult. It changes you forever. If you had a great marriage it is fairly natural to want the same thing again. I found that the biggest problem is finding someone with good relationship skills with the correct personality and other parameters. Some people have issues with widowed partners too.

Fate means the future is predetermined, for better or for worse. The alternative is free will which is a film about a whale.

I have never believed in fate.
