Ive actually been on and off the site 20 yrs, never once matched with a real person, never got a real phone number to talk on the phone or meet in person. not ONCE. and the site has NOT gone downhill, its ALWAYS been like this

I've been on and off since almost the beginning in 2006 and I've met quite a few REAL people in the real world.. one that I dated.. several I made friends with and a few I've been close friends since..
sadly.. there's a lot of 'bots' and scammers on this site.. I've gotten over 200 "liked me" profiles since I got back a week ago.. most are bogus but.. I've managed to rekindle a few friend connections in the community which is cool.. Anywho.. welcome back to the fray

Im not exaggerating when i say EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of my matches is fake. but when they offered me the upgrade for 6 months for only 23 bucks (total, not per month), I took it, foolishly thinking that having an upgrade would somehow connect me to real people, which it didnt obviously, so I told this to American Express, and they gave me my money back.
