Topic: Britney Spears Lost Custody Of Her Kids

The thing that disturbs me the most about the entire thing, both on here, and in the media, is that everyone is very quick to jump all over her for being a bad mother (we're not disputing what she's done), and then point and laugh because she's Britney Spears. The press got their money shoving her up on a pedestal and now they are doing the same throwing her off.

For God's sakes, the woman needs help! It's pretty damn clear she's going through a **** load of psychological problems.

Are her kids suffering? Yes. Should she currently have responsibility over them? No. But she IS still a person, and she doesn't deserve to be ridiculed.

I assume nobody pointing fingers has ever come anywhere near a mental breakdown?

</end rant>

she gets ridiculed because she does everything PUBLICLY. if she would seek help and stay with it, she'd probably regain some respect from america. as is, she's a nut who needs to be locked up for everyone's protection

who in here hasn't been near a mental breakdown?

I haven't been near a mental breakdown.

Brittany is a spoiled little girl in a womans body. She doesn't have a clue. She doesn't see? The world bellows and falls on deaf ears?

This woman has been out on the town since she had those babies. I would not tolerate my kids having kids acting that way. I used to think Kevin was a joke, but he is stepping up to the plate. She sure isn't. She is out of control. Ignorant, and all about herself.
I was feeling sorry for her at one time. Not anymore. Her antics will be aired on the news tonight. She is a fool.
I feel for her babies. They have no real mom to learn from. Now is the time they should be needing her.

I think everyone around Britney is too scared to pi$$ her off and not get paid to ask one real question: Is this girl suffering from post pardum? She wasn't acting this way until after she had her first baby, so that leads me to believe that she is. I think everyone has coddled her and been afraid of losing paychecks. They don't seem to care that this girl has some real issues. My aunt suffered from post pardum after her first son, and let me tell you, its not pretty. Her behavior seems to have gotten worse since her second son, so seems like maybe she got a double dose of untreated post pardum. Everyone in the world is chalking it up to "oh, the b!tch is just stupid", but I seriously don't think thats it at all. This girl needs help, big time, and nobody cares enough about her to see that she gets it.

As for the comment I read about they should take her sisters baby too: That young lady handled her situation with dignity and showed great responsibility for her actions. She took time to think it through before rushing into a decision that effects the rest of her life. Its going to be a hard road for her, but she's not the first 16 y/o to get knocked up... and she won't be the last. She'll be okay. Actually, Britney might learn a thing or two from her sister.

i agree with jamie..i believe she is suffering from post partum depression, she had a very public, messy divorce.Instead of self medicating, she needs to take a step back and get some treatment.I hear people call her all sorts of names but we only get one side of this sad story..I hope she gets help before she ends up dead.

i think she's bi-polar.

she appears manic more than depressed.

well i thinks its a wee bit of both and some of the names she has been called and the jokes about mental illness just make me sick.
by the way back in the day we rode with no seat belts,on our Dads lap excetera because it wasnt mandatory and guess what?we all survived so put the perfect parent hat away kids.

yeah, but back in the day...we didn't know as much as we do now.

there's enough education out there for her to know to use a car-seat. i mean, they won't even let you leave the hospital without one!

she's got the money...she could easily have paid for every education class out there.

i really do think she's bi-polar though...

i know we know more now but i hate people who come off like they make zero mistakes with their kids...Britney had to much fame, too fast and zero guidance..
I wish I could hug her.I'm way to compassionate today..laugh

I have no idea what anybody is talking about here. It sounds like the only people to have sympathy for are two children. Everyone else involved sounds like they are upholding the proud and oh so stereotypical image of po' white trailer park trash.

that you are.

she's old enough to take responsibility for her actions.

what has she done right with her kids? isn't she the one that dropped one of em on it's head?

i think the issue is that she doesn't LEARN from said mistakes. well ALL do things with our kids that we later change...it's the LACK of change that bugs me.

it's also the lack of self-education. the information is out there...if you take the time to HAVE the kids, GET the education. learn how to properly care for them. yes, we all have different ideas on what is acceptable parenting...but at least have informed ideas!

she has the money...she could pay someone to teach her!

I also remember the days of no seat belts. But, I do know of one incidence that happened from no seat belts. A friend of mine has a deaf brother but he was not born deaf.

When the brother was a baby, he was being held in his mother's arms in the car in the front seat. Their car was hit in the rear end.

The mom went forward and the baby hit his head on the dashboard.
He hit his head bad enough to cause permanent deafness.

Wow,I guess we all werent so lucky...sorry to hear that.
i am all for seatbelts and would never put my kid on my lap but especially since its the law but we are not all born with common sense and should spare Britney the name calling and such. She is paying for her excesses and finally getting help.Lets focus on wishing her success in a full recovery.
