It depends when I was youngin I choose alot of flash..Later on in life I wanted a quater sleeve ,I put alot of thought and time into it and decided to come up with something creative so I sat down with my artist and I told him what I was thinking, he begin to draw and finally we came up with some ruff drafts that I like and the rest historyhappy

jackie was her name..and i were so happy that she vowed to remain mine no matter how many times i would go abroad(out of province)..so happy that i didnt heed anyones advice and put her name on a rose on my shoulder...lollol..very foolish because she is gone..but that was 2 ex's ago...lol

Designed my own, and had a roommate draw it up...since drawing isn't one of my talents. I encourage people who want to get a tattoo to try and make it different from all the rest (like one that everyone else has), because it's suppose to mean something special to the person getting one. For instance, mine is a cracked heart with a yellow rose going through it and a little vine around it. (The rose has nothing to do with Texas either! LOL) It has a special symbolism for me.

Make it a personal choice. dont tell anyone until you choose. Find a tattoo artist that will talk you trough it.

Never put a boyfriend's name on, though, because that relationship could always fall through. Some people do put their kids' names on, since they know :) they will be in their life and heart forever.

I designed the ones my daughter and I "share." We both went thru a horrendous and very painful time when she felt she was alone. I told her I'd always, ALWAYS have her back, no matter what.

So, I have a puzzle piece with half a heart, and she has the matching puzzle piece with the other half of the heart. When we stand side-by-side, the heart is whole, and the pieces fit.

Being only 16 when we had it done, her friends thought she had the best mom in the world. Someday I hope she will, too.

My tattoo is of a tiger's face cut into a butterfly.............. when you first look, you see the butterfly, look closer and you can see the details of the tiger.

I got it a year after I kicked my ex out, people always said I wouldn't make it on my own with my girls, I was too soft and I wanted to prove them wrong. So my butterfly is soft and if you look inside------it has strength and power!drinker
