My friends and I call them that...and we all have tattoos everywhere...one of my friends who calls it that even has one there!
Mostly 'tramp stamps' are the generic tribal/butterfly ones that are easily taken from the flash wall and copied by many. If it's an obvious custom tattoo there, there's no way I'd call it a tramp stamp. |

Its a term us idiots guys use when were out with fellow idiot guy friends. I really don't know anyone that thinks the placement of tattoo has anything to do with sexual easiness. Ok, well other then the stripper in Portland I saw with an arrow pointing to her vagina with the word HEAVEN written next to it.

in Ohio we call it the whore brand, I tend to steer clear of those and I have a arm sleeve.

Get a tattoo wherever you want, I have a couple of "homemade" ones. There will always be generalizations of what is and isn't, just break away from the generalizations and do what you want to do regardless of any comment you may get...at least you don't have long spikes sticking out of your head

I know several awsome ladies who have them and are not tramps, Everyone i know including ladies call them that, always just looked at it as body art.

In the NJ/Philly area we call it a tramp stamp too...although *surprisingly* for hot and/or nice girls who have it guys never call it that. Wooo hypocrisy.
On a serious note though, there is an increasing voice in the medical community warning against lower back tattoos for potential mothers who may wish to have an epidural. Apparently the ink causes complications when they try to stick the needle in your spine... |
