Sorry to keep posting, just curious what peoples ideas of black metal are. =)

Devil Driver and no its not satanic music, it's a great band. Lead singer is former lead from Coal Chamber

My friend loves Devil driver. They are awesome. Have you heard of Dimmu Borgir? I dont share the same beliefs but the music is great.

Devil Driver and no its not satanic music, it's a great band. Lead singer is former lead from Coal Chamber Yep. Personally not a big fan of HIM, take a listen to Dimmu Borgir. Danzig can also hit on some pretty dark metal, though it's more in the lyrics than the actual music. Nine Inch Nails also is in the same boat, most of the lyrics are of a dark nature. God Forbid is also a good band, though I haven't heard much from them. |

I wouldnt consider Marilyn manson Black metal either. but Mastodon is godly. same with COF, although dani really needs to stop posing for pictures in the weirdest ways with his tongue stuck out. AM I RIGHT?!

Yeah...Marlyn Manson went pop after the AntiChrist Superstar album. Even then though...wasnt really black metal.

Just saw God Forbid on tour with Agnostic Front and Hatebreed. Put on a damn good show. The drums are amazing. And they did an awesome cover of Sepeltura's Propaganda.

Screw black metal (though I do like children of bodom every now and then) give me power metal. (Sonata Arctica, Angra, Symphony X) Thats me with the lead singer of Sonata Arctica

SOmething weird i noticed about manson, He looks just like the voldemort in the harry potter movies!!! Venom is awesome (thats a blast from the past) Early Metallica Is AMAZING I prefer punk rock though, Black Flag, the circle jerks, The Goonies, Fear, Buzzcocks, Bad Religion, Pixies, The Dears, Franz Ferdinand, Black Tie Dynasty, Sum41, AFI, Aiden, Mindless self indulgence And although most metalheads and punk fans consider this musical blasphemy My Chemical Romance Is AWESOME |
