Not eveyone get's jealous...I truly dont. Why haveyou been told your not dating "material"..Why in specific?

And when you say love, are you like in "love" after a few weeks? Or is this a long term deal your reffering to? I think the combination of what your saying that you love someone too much and get jealous is what is causing the deal breaker...Probably smothering them

Just an observation from what you wrote here. First EVERYONE has potential to be "dating material", however you MAY need to work on certain things to attract someone else.


Here is the biggest problem I can see from what you have stated..your words.. "i always end up wrecking things somehow cos of how much i love that person"

This would indicate to me that you may be "smothering" the person. No matter if you are a "couple" or not, EVERYONE needs a certain amount of personal space, because we are ALL individuals as well. It sounds like you may be trying too hard. Relax, and let things flow naturally. The best kind of relationships are ones that happen by themselves.

As for the "jealousy" issue, that has a very fine line. many time bad jealousy is a strong sign of a very insecure person. I have dated some very attractive women and other men approaching/hitting on her is just going to be a part of life, not a thing you can do about it. So no use in being jealous or getting upset. Have the trust in her that she is committed to you and that she is probably use to all the guys approaching/hitting on her because of her beauty..she grew up having to deal with that issue, so she can most likely handle any situation. But you can be there and let her know "if you want me to step in and take care of the situation, just let me know".

So get confident and secure with yourself, relax and don;t try to "push"..just let things go naturally.

Ummmm. Your profile earlier this morning said you were going to be having babies with someone and you had pictures of her on your profile. In your pics section. What's the deal? Did that relationship end in the past eight hours?
Honestly.. I'm just asking becuase this thread is completely incongruent with your profile earlier today.

It sounds like you need to do some work on yourself before you consider getting into another relationship. I would read a few self-help books on Codependency or "Addictive Love" and possibly consider joining a Codependents Anonymous or AlAnon group. Have you considered psychotherapy?

The first step is admitting that you have a problem. Good for you. It shows that you are growing and maturing. You seek a healthier relationship than you have had in the past. Now, it is time to do something about it. Help yourself FIRST.
