Sorry, sir, I rarely use Thunderbird. I prefer my gmail.

i think its a comcast prob, so nm Which is the account that you have configured as a primary, because that will be the SMTP that send your mail, in any case try another account and other SMTP with gmail set to pop3 I send mails with attachment between 10 to 20 megabytes without a problem
