it made me wonder if u truly believe that it is ok to accept people of every size and shape.i have seen from my list there is a vast variety. and being big myself all my life i remember the school years were hel. i was accepted by some in high school.
and now i am ready to find someone to spend major time with.and i want to be truly accepted.i know it has to come off.i hate the nightly shots of insulin,5 pills a day for type 2 diabetes.really watching what u eat,and making sure i get in exercise everyday.

Nobodys perfect
Im sure NOT! I accept people for how they treat me. I lost a lot of weight 56 pounds since september & quit smoking...Im always here to help! I have to take shots every 12 hours too...not for diabetes, for my heart....but I know its a pain in the arse |

I know how you feel Robin. I too, am type 2 and my weight has gone up and down all my life. When my husband was sick the stress was so bad I put on lots. I am now in a program at the gym and as much as I hate it , I go at least 3 x a wk and have lost over 40 lbs. Have some more to lose but I'm working on it and my sugar is much better. But I accept everyone as they are, you never know when you may be in that same position..Just try to enjoy your life and take care of yourself....

heck i lost 100 pound's and i feel great ! went from a size 46 to 38 i still need to lose some more ! but heck it's all how you feel about yourself !

Hell i got a two yr old im getting older im a below the knee amputee (so i dont have a leg to stand on ) but itl b ok in time all things come together

Well I can tell you as i live and how I raised my son.
You NEVER judge ANYONE by the color of thier skin, thier race, creed, religion...ANYTHING. You judge them by ONE THING ONLY...thier CHARACTER and WHO THEY ARE AS A PERSON! That will tell you who they are. Now I can be friends with basically anyone, as long as they are good people, I couldn;t care less what they look like. I'm not some Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise myself dammit!    But now when you are looking for that special someone for romance in your life..well then the physical does matter, but its simply comes down to a person's personal preference. Like I stated in the other thread. i don;t like too thick or too thin. I love SOFT, because i love to hold and cuddle. But some people, both men and women, have thier own personal preference. but there is someone out there for everyone, because there are all types that like the other type. So just keep an eye out, you'll find someone who catches your eye..then don't be afraid to let them know you are interested. You may not get the response you are looking for, but thats ok, you found out. But other times, you may get even better response than what you were looking for. So there is hope, just don;t be afraid to take that swing!
