Who said I have a problem with it? I simply don't have any respect for them. They can go out and get a real job. Like me.

Mr. Wiley:

Geez, I thought you were totally different. Well, I guess I have a little ugly streak in me that is just going to pop out now.

Know who the gentleman in my profile picture is?
Want to doubt whether he has a valid job?

Gee, he is someone I greatly admire too.

Other than the fact that he is drop-dead gorgeous, has an exceptionally out of this world voice and the personality to match, have anything ugly to say about him cause he has a real job and makes a ton of money?

Sometimes I gotta do what I gotta do.

Rush has a real job, perhaps you just wish you had his talent.

What talent? Anybody can criticize anything. Takes absolutely no talent to do that. Al Franken does the same thing. I don't have any respect for him either in that regard.

Thanx to your conservative bible thumping out of touch with reality compadres our nation is now so far in debt that our kids will never get it paid off. You've taken a generation of young men sent them to a sand box, made them do two or three tours of duty. You think you had wack jobs coming home from nam, you ain't seen nothin yet. Be proud, there' a special place in history for people like you. You can bet Rush never put on a uniform, We all know what a stand up guy Bush is. He never made anything work as a civilian, then he rode his daddy's coat tails in to the white house. Pardon me while I go Puke.

Troubled:

Geez, you sure are troubled.

You see, you fell right into my little trap. Sometimes hateful, pessimistic people just need to be 'smacked' into revealing their true nature. Yep, you sure did, although it was directed at Wiley. Guess my conservativeness just gets under your skin. Oh, well............................

Live in misery.

I prefer to be optimistic, oh, and a Bible Thumper! I love my Lord.

Your trap..........Riiiiiight. I believe youyawn No Really. Wisdom like that only comes down the pike once in a great while. I can hardly believe that I would dare to argue with a person with such cunning and Savvy........Got any bridges for sale? By the way next time you read your Bible pay attention to the parts you don't agree with.

Listening to one of my favorite great conservatives, Rush Limbaugh, of course, he had this to say today on his talk radio show:

"Politics would be a good business if it weren't for the people in it."

Hmmmmm

Lindyy

Lindyy......

Rush also said, "Remember this: Politicians are the same all over. They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river. And anyone who wants the presidency so much that he'll spend two years organizing and campaigning for it is not to be trusted with that office."

Amen to that, especially the current administration and it's attempt to take this country to the toilet.noway

No, Rush was not referring to the current administratio.noway

Politics as a whole.

Lindyy

laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh Current administration is part of "politics as a whole"laugh laugh laugh

Dragoness. Nancy Pelosi and her gang hold the majority in Congress, so the likelihood is that Rush was referring to the Democrats, again as I said above, the Democrats or the rats.

There is NOT ONE part of the Bible that I disagree with. After all, who am I to disagree with the Lord God Almighty? El Shaddai: “God Almighty.” I love my God:

* Yahweh Jireh (Yireh): “The Lord will provide.” Stresses God’s provision for His people (Gen. 22:14).
* Yahweh Nissi: “The Lord is my Banner.” Stresses that God is our rallying point and our means of victory; the one who fights for His people (Ex. 17:15).
* Yahweh Shalom: “The Lord is Peace.” Points to the Lord as the means of our peace and rest (Jud. 6:24).
* Yahweh Sabbaoth: “The Lord of Hosts.” A military figure portraying the Lord as the commander of the armies of heaven (1 Sam. 1:3; 17:45).
* Yahweh Maccaddeshcem: “The Lord your Sanctifier.” Portrays the Lord as our means of sanctification or as the one who sets believers apart for His purposes (Ex. 31:13).
* Yahweh Ro’i: “The Lord my Shepherd.” Portrays the Lord as the Shepherd who cares for His people as a shepherd cares for the sheep of his pasture (Ps. 23:1).
* Yahweh Tsidkenu: “The Lord our Righteousness.” Portrays the Lord as the means of our righteousness (Jer. 23:6).
* Yahweh Shammah: “The Lord is there.” Portrays the Lord’s personal presence in the millennial kingdom (Ezek. 48:35).
* Yahweh Elohim Israel: “The Lord, the God of Israel.” Identifies Yahweh as the God of Israel in contrast to the false gods of the nations (Jud. 5:3.; Isa. 17:6).

(3) Adonai: Like Elohim, this too is a plural of majesty. The singular form means “master, owner.” Stresses man’s relationship to God as his master, authority, and provider (Gen. 18:2; 40:1; 1 Sam. 1:15; Ex. 21:1-6; Josh. 5:14).

TO MY BELOVED JEWISH FRIENDS: * Yahweh Elohim Israel: “The Lord, the God of Israel.” Shalom.

Lindyy

P.S. If you do not want to hear my 'bible thumping', simply do not mention my Bible.

this discussion brings to mind that great democratic president of a few years back's answer to a question under oath, "Depends on what your definition of is is." Now THAT reflects true intelligence. And we are bad-mouthing what Rush L. said?

CLDMom:

Aren't they fantastic? I listen to them everyweek. I have their "Live at the Greek" just plain "Il Divo" and "The Christmas Collection." My 2 favorite songs are "I Believe In You" and "Pasera" They now have a book out and another album Siempre. When I listen to them, well, who cares what the rest of the world is doing, I am in Heaven!
