stop urself from fallin for sumone to fast?? I do it alot...I have meet this guy an Im fallin to fast for him... we click an Im pretty sure he likes me... hes a gentlemen holds doors for me, we have hung out 2times an no kiss yet just hugs...so I know he respects me, just tring not to get my hopes up..any ideas?

God I remember those years, I always wanted the girl to fall fast, and have sex by the third date. Oh the memories. But you'll never know how fast is too fast, until you screw up half a dozen times.

I know its hard but I to used to do that, I would meet someone and then because we "clicked" I would stop dating others and wait on this ONE guy to realize what a GEM I was...
Now I just try to see them as friends and try to realize that I would rather be single than miserable.. if you move to fast you dont' see them for the WHOLE picture you just see what you want.. BACK up go on a date with someone else JUST A DATE.. and pay attention...as soon as you let them know that THEY ARE IT FOR YOU.. then they start either backing away or running right along with you.. Maybe he is into you to but the only way to find out could be the only way to lose what could be a great thing.. FORCE yourself to date someone else just a date or two and don't play games.. don't act like you don't like him just don't throw yourself at his mercy.. Good luck |

There is nothing wrong with being attracted to someone right away, nor in acting on that attraction. Physical attraction does not mean anything further would ever develop, though.
What you should be aware of is keeping your feelings in perspective. Lust is not love, and true feelings take time and effective communication to discern. You should be in no hurry. Try to put some perspective on things and keep certain boundaries. Do what feels right and natural, not what you want to feel. Just be honest, communicative, and true to yourself~ always.
