Humm I would think that it would not but funny how it seems that the ones that I know that have a wide variety of music and can recite names artist ect are a tad smarter. But to me it has nothing to do with the type of music they like per say.  Possibly a correlation between intelligence and people who have a diverse variety of favorite music? You may be on to something here. But that's only because I have a diverse taste in music and it would be nice to have scientific evidence that maybe I'm smarter than a 5th grader.  Ohhhhhh now smarter than a 5th grader now your pushing it lol  But actually I have notice that and no I'm not one of those that can recite music and artist with each song. Love to listen to all kinds but I have never been able to go to that extreme. But seriously then one's that I know that can do that without a second thought seemed to be more intelligent then some.

Well it could to some degree maybe...There is usually a big difference in childrens music as opposed to adults music right? Hence, if an adult listens to Sesame Street or Sponge Bob all day and repeatedly with no kids around. I'd have to wonder a bit. Of course I still like cartoons too. |
