cyst.. eww

Yeah I don't have to worry about that, jeannie lol
It is stabbing, but it comes and goes for a few seconds.
Where'd you hear that?

I didn't hear it... I experienced it on a regular basis. That is what my doctor told me it was. Eggs came down from the ovaries on both sides, but not at the same time. One then the other at different times.

thats true.its also the reason my periods arent as miserable at times.

I had an ovarian cyst and an extopic pregnancy, so I'd get it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

If the pain gets severe and continues, get it checked, it could be an ectopic pregnancy and that needs attention fast (if you have had sex in the last couple of months).

Ovarian cysts do happen, but some go away by themselves I think, but the bigger ones can cause problems and lots of pain.

If the pain is in your lower right side and gets severe and you develop a fever, loss of appetite/vomiting, get to an emergency room, you could have appendicitis too.

Oh well I need spellchecker badly. In truth my ectoptic was surgically removed so it is now an extopic. That was a new one in my typos.

Um okay I have a weird completely random question for all the women of JSH.

Have you ever had any radiating pain in the area of one of your ovaries? If so, does anyone know what the hell it's from? lol

This is way personal, but I'm curious. laugh

could be something as simple as intestinal gas and it feels like its coming from your ovaries....watch your diet, see it you notice it happening after eating any particular food or combination of foods.....

yes certain foods trigger ibs, which does cause abdo pain.

you still need to go to the doctor to find out the cause. keep us updated.

It's on my right side, but it's been going on way too long and it's way too low to be my appendix. It's definitely not pregnancy. Like I said, I've had a dr do an external exam, they think because it's not sticking out enough to feel it that it's not an issue. She said it could be a cyst, but it might not be. I don't know why doctors never just believe that women know their bodies and know when something's wrong, but I don't have health insurance either, so I guess I'll know if it decides to rupture, I hear the pain is lovely.

I only get pain during ovulation when my left ovary drops an egg. My right one is painless. The doc said it is because my left ovary was a "sick" ovary in that it was over sized but not from cysts just a birth defect or accident in early life. I was stepped on by a horse in my teens. So that could have caused the injury to it.

Stepped on by a horse? OMG! That hurts to think about it.

I had lots of pain on my right side, it was my ovary. They actually had to go in and remove my ovary, so I wouldn't play around to long before I went in and had the dr have a look at you.
Good Luck flowerforyou

TELL THEM to send you a gynae doctor. ive got endometriosis and my pain is always the worst on my right side. ibs pain is normally on the left side, so it doesnt sound like ibs. insist they send you to a gynaecologist
