Ever since "Lone Star" left I have been hankering for a recipe so that I could again enjoy the delight of a rack of bar-b-Q ribs. I never seem to have the luck I have with pig ribs any suggestions on recipes? I understand a good salt water soak overnight BEFORE barbi cuing works wonders-any suggestions????

Go get a very good marinade, and marinade them for a week, before you barbecue them. It makes them tender, and the meat will just fall off the bone.

Never heard of marinating meat for a week, it won't go bad?

Never heard of Corkey's either, sorry.

I do my own, buy country style pork ribs, the meaty ones.
Make my own sauce with brown sugar, a little bit of mustard and a lot of ketchup to mix it all up. (Never measure it - maybe 2 cups of brown sugar, 1/4 cup mustard, 1/2 bottle of ketchup or more until it is a good spreading consistency). Anyways I put the ribs in the oven in a baking pan covered with foil on about 325 and cook for an two hours. Then I uncover them and slather the sauce all over them. Put the foil back on for another 1/2 hour to an hour, then for the last 1/2 hour or so turn the heat up in the oven and uncover to brown the ribs. Cook until the meat starts to fall apart.

These are a family favorite. I don't bother with salt and pepper on these, the sauce has plenty of flavor. Cooking time varies on the size of the ribs and amount in the pan, etc.
