Just a comment If someone emails or initiates a conversation with you on this site and you are interested or not do you reply to them or not... do you ignore them or write back? Do you tell them thanks or no thanks? Do you build yourself up just to let others down, why are you here if you are not going to communicate with others...after all it is "just say hi"... for example mutual match?????? why bother?   And the ones to just leave ya,,,,,,HURT... And the ones to answer you back,,,ARE SO COOL!!!!!

Love is a useless emotion too, but people still strive for that. Hopefully the world will end soon, because humanity needs an enema. When I say guilt is useless, it is becuause guilt is a self loathing emotion, it does not build you up, it tears you down. You are correct humanity does need an enema, people who do something nice then feel entitled to something...really arn't all that nice now are they? |

Love is useless, because love is a mutual loathing emotion, it builds you up, then tears you down. And there's no entitlement issue with just saying "Hi!" to someone that said hi to you, its just what polite and nice people do. But I guess I'm alone here. Oh well, I always wanted to run away and join a leper colony. |

you are in an internet forum of communication to other adults that have joined for the purpose of getting to know others why would you be here if you were not going to communicate too...???????????????????? There are as many reasons for this as there are people here. It is not necessarily rude or unfriendly. If I find myself feeling offended by a relative strangers behavior toward me? I get to assume the lions share of responsibility for that. Especially if I am offended simply because they fail to do what I expected. The best way around these feelings? Should I find them creeping into my psyche.. Grow a thicker skin. Realize that not everything is about me. Reconsider my approach. Quit feeling sorry for myself as soon as possible, but while having my little pity party.. make it a private one. |

I mean come on ppl ... if I email everyone who did me I would never have time to play on the forums .... and thats where I meet the best ppl .... all the guys I've talked to I've seen in here.... you just get a feeling of what kind of person they are....when guys drop you a line.. you just don't get much from that... I don't mean to hurt any feelings

I mean come on ppl ... if I email everyone who *did me* I would never have time to play on the forums .... and thats where I meet the best ppl .... all the guys I've talked to I've seen in here.... you just get a feeling of what kind of person they are....when guys drop you a line.. you just don't get much from that... Wow, that was a Dr Phil-esque moment right there, I think I need a fat bald man to hug! I'm far from fat.. and still have a full head of hair. I also show no signs of a Texas accent. Much to my disadvantage in one valued relationship.. I also happen to think he tends to be a grandiose kind of guy.... But.. I do not like myself much when I hold others accountable for my feelings. It puts way too much power in other peoples hands. It also removes my ability to make good choices for myself in how I feel. I can't control what others do.. All I can do is control me. That can often be a challenge in itself. Why make it that much harder by giving you permission to make choices for me? |

It depends on how the "hi" is delivered, if it is in an email that is polite and non raunchy, yes, I respond, if it is interlaced in trash talk..no. Besides where is it written that someone has to respond to every e-mail? Just because I have a phone doesn't mean I have to answer it, and just because I have a front door doesn't mean I have to answer it either.... If someone doesn't answer my e-mail... oh well. NEXT.  I like writing raunchy emails wheres mine ya rotten lil kid???
