steven king's gunslinger series, has every story he has ever written tied in to this masterpiece of 7 books, do the audio tapes, the first book it all setup and hard to get through, but what a masterpiece it is. salem's lot, black house pet cemetary, buick eight, and all. are directly or indirectly tied in. a must listen, for real steven king fans,.....incredible, and the books move faster, as his writing prose get's better, what a way to follow a master and his works. I'm interested. I already have some of his books. |

My favorite book is The Talisman, with Cell coming in close second. I am also currently reading The Stand. I have an entire shelf of my bookshelf filled with Stephen King books haha. The movie, "The Stand", couldn't even come close to the quality of the book. |

I'd have to say Shining was my favorite movie. Though, I agree that his books are 10 times better. Favorite books: Dark Tower (utterly fantastic and how can you not love how it ties in to so many other books? It really gives a greater appreciation of all his other books) I also LOVE Nightmares and Dreamscapes. Then again I love almost all his books:)

I've been reading him since high school,oh about 3 yrs now.. not sure what his complete catalogue is.Thought sure he was a goner when that dumbass ran him over in Maine a few years back.I think it has changed his writing somewhat.
He also writes under the Richard Bachman handle. |

Yes, I remember how injured he was when that fool ran over him.
Do you think his writings are better or worse since then? I hadn't thought about it before? Richard Bachman?! I so didn't know this. |

I think they are more philisophical somehow.if you read his new book Duma Key,i feel the main character reflects a lot of his feelings after the accident. heres a link to everything he has ever done from soup to nuts. http://www.stephenking.com/hisworks.php |
