I'm not going to argue with you.

Go back and re-read. Maybe ask someone else. But I'm declining to explain to you how you insulted me.

If you can't see it? Wow.

im saying animals should have the same right as animals. if she was suffering then yes put her to sleep, but shes not suffering at all. she runs about like a loon.

If your opinions are different than mine....

(and by the way there was also an assumption on your part that I said to put the animal down? I never said that)

I respect that.

However, I was not given the same respect. I'm as entitled to my views as you are yours. It would be, I would think, common courtesy, to state your own views and opinions and discuss issues in an adult manner rather than personally attacking those people who say things you disagree with.

This is a discussion forum.

ok sorry, my mistake,

they have said the surgery will need doing, there not doing for there benefit, but for the puppy.

I have to agree with lilith...

I used to work in the veterinary field and almost everyday I would see owners pour money into pets that would have been better served being euthanized (then turn around and complain that we don't care when their money does run out. Hello! It's a business, people...but that's beside the point). They selfishly think they are keeping their pets happy by giving them one more day. In reality they are too afraid to let go.

ok, if she didnt have the surgery she still would be fine, shes not in any pain, and all the vets shes worked with have said shes a very happy puppy. its ONLY because there having here spayed, that there going to remove the bits she shouldnt have. All i know is, she is a vetinary nurse and they have practices slotted everywhere, she has had loads of opinions, and not ONE of them have said put her to sleep or shes suffering. the majority have said if your having her spayed, we will do that at the same time, or some of said just leave it. if she was suffering, believe me, they would put her to sleep. when they bought her no one knew what it was, and she said, if its cancer and she only lives a month, then at least shes had a happy month alive. she runs about like a loon, she keeps nibbling my toes, seriously i would never let any animal suffer, my last 2 rabbits were put to sleep, and we did that to stop them suffering, if she was suffering, honestly, they would put her to sleep.

ok, I work as a vet tech and I believe that every puppy that can be saved and live a normal life, should be. And since Debby has stated money isn't an issue then help the puppy!!!

As far as the diagnosis I'm afraid it's a bit limited but from what my doctor can diagnose from your story is that this isn't as rare as we would assume it to be. He's not sure about the "water works" problem, but as far as the hermaphrodite part it is easily rectified with a decent veterinarian.

thankyou so much. money isnt a issue in the sligtest, they have said it will cost thousands, but shes worth every penny. i feel a lot more posotive after reading what you said. shes going to be operated on by a specialist, so shes in good hands. im smiling happy for the first time, knowing theres a good chance she will be fine. thankyou. flowerforyou flowerforyou

my pets are part of my family...and if an animal can be saved, i'd literally starve to do so.

i believe that if you take on the responsibility of pet ownership, you see it through...not just have the family member put to sleep because of an operation's expense.

thankyou lori, i believe exactly the same. money isnt a issue, but if it was, i can assure we would find the money no matter what it took. and yes i also agree if your not willing to pay the cost when your animal gets sick, then dont have one in the first place. i couldnt agree with you anymore. flowerforyou flowerforyou    the thought of putting her to sleep when she can be saved, even though its expensive, makes me so sad, i was hurt by some of the comments. flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

THIS IS SHOCKING

my brothers fiance is now a vertinary nurse, people bring there animals in when they get sick, if they require treatment thats to expensive, do you know what they say, WELL HE BIT SOMEONE, then they have to put the animal to sleep. also is someone doesnt want the animal anymore, they just say well he bites people and again they have to put it to sleep.

THERE ARE SOME SICK PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD, HEARTLESS, AND SERIOUSLY I WOULDNT SPIT ON THEM IF THEY WERE ON FIRE. THANKS THE LORD FOR KARMA.

Unfortunately we see this alot at my clinic also, but I always ask the owner if they would be willing to allow us a few days to find the home at no extra cost to them, most of them are willing to let us do that and it has saved alot of lives!
