Bright moonlight streams through the windows
Patchwork squares of it shimmer upon the hardwood floor
I lay in my bed, still as ever
Eyes open just a wee bit
As I watch them dance to and fro
Swirling and twirling across the floor
Moonlight fairies of gossamer wing
Weaving their magic for all of creation
Straining my ears for thier soft laughter
Singing thier hearts delight
On this full moon night
As they dance in the golden moonlight
And I wish for just a moment
That I too could join them in this dance
And sing the tune of honor to the moon
I close my eyes and drift away
Slumbering til the break of day

I'll never look at dust in the moonlight the same way again. Thank you
